Susan has worked with horses professionally for over 25 years. Susan’s first Advanced horse was the talented Irish Sport Horse “Up for Gold’ who competed through the CCI*** level in 2002/2003. Along with the horses Susan competed, she taught and coached kids through adults, beginners through experienced riders. She specializes in helping individual assess and attain their goals. Susan brings riders from Beginner Novice to the Advanced level as well as simply teaches a rider to be confident and safe to trail ride with friends. Susan resides in Southern Pines, NC where she runs a successful boarding, teaching and training program. Susan’s current mount, the exceptional Dutch Warmblood Wolf, has become a favorite in the sport, winning the dressage at almost every event entered. Wolf will move up to move up to Advanced this winter and head to the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event CCI4* next April. In just four short years (2007-2011) Susan’s American Thoroughbred- “Prowler” (By Turko Man-Mr. Prospector) climbed the ranks from training level to the Advanced level. From 2008-2011 the pair competed in 9 CCI’s/CIC’s realizing a lifelong dream competing at the 2011 Rolex CCI4*, finishing at the top half of the field. ! ! !
