As we re-engineer ourselves for the next dispensation, we are seeking competent individuals to
fill the vacant positions below as part of the talent search.
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Manager will be
responsible for the running of the full spectrum of HR operations.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications and experience:

Degree in Human Resources or business or related field is a must coupled with a Masters
Degree in the same areas or an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management.

At least 5 years experience in the field; those with supervisory experience will have extra
advantage.

Excellent Computer Skills.

Excellent Interpersonal skills.

Exceptional communication skills.

Desire to work in a faith based setup is a definite advantage.
CORPORATE AFFAIRS MANAGER
Reporting to the Corporate and Spiritual Affairs Director, the Corporate Affairs Manager in
liaison with other managers in the Division will be responsible for the public outlook aspect,
corporate communication and resource mobilization.
He/she will manage the hospital’s corporate communication which includes but not limited to
managing the website and social engagement, media briefs preparation, organizing for press
briefing, developing and running with CSR activities and development and circulation of the
hospital newsletter.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications and Experience:

Degree in Public Relations/ Marketing/ Communication or Journalism. A Masters Degree
in the same area or Business Administration will be an added advantage.

Certificate and experience in graphics and design will be a definite advantage.

At least 5 years experience in Corporate Affairs / Communications department and 3 in a
supervisory level.

Excellent Computer Skills (MS Office)


ICT MANAGER
Reporting to the Finance Division Director, the successful candidate will provide overall
leadership of the ICT department in the design, development and maintenance of information
and communication systems so as to ensure that ICT drives the organization.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications and experience:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline

5 years of progressive experience in ICT, of which at least 2 years should be in team
leadership of a high performing ICT team;

In-depth knowledge of project management, business continuity planning and strategic
management

Knowledge of leading edge developments in ICT;

Proven ability in raising the level of ICT utilization across all functions;
ASSISTANT MANAGER, PROCUREMENT
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Assistant Manager – Procurement will provide
procurement and logistics services, including but not limited to, procuring goods and services
in accordance with Kijabe Hospital policy and standards; providing guidance, advice and
support to ensure procurement processes are effective, efficient, and ethical and provide the
best possible value to the organization; supporting the Supply Chain Manager in the discharge
of her/his responsibilities and development of new tools.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications and experience:

Degree in Procurement or a Business related field. Professional certification in procurement
e.g. CIPS will be an added advantage

3 years purchasing experience in a busy organization.

Strong organizational skills and focused on service delivery.

Integrity and attention to detail.

Able to work unsupervised and meet set deadlines.

Good communication skills.

Computer literacy, working knowledge of ERP.

Membership to a professional body, CIPS or KISM
ASSISTANT MANAGER, CREDIT AND CASE MANAGER
Reporting to the Finance Director, the credit and case manager will effectively and efficiently
oversee all admissions and discharges of patients and create a Christ-like work environment
where patients, their families, visitors, employees and other Departments receive high quality
services. He/she will effectively screen and manage patients who are unable to pay for medical
treatment and who are most vulnerable by virtue of being orphaned, living in poverty or
infected/affected with/by HIV/chronic illness.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications and experience:

Professional Qualifications and affiliations

5 years of credit experience.

Bachelor's degree in business and experience with credit systems preferred.

Have a thorough knowledge of credit-related laws.

Have considerable experience with customer negotiations.
RISK MANAGEMENT OFFICER
Reporting to the Finance Director, the individual will design a framework for identifying,
measuring and mitigating risk for the hospital. He/she will also be involved in managing
general liability and risk exposures for the hospital. He/she will ensure the Hospital’s areas of
risks are identified, assessed and mitigating factors recommended for appropriate action.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications and experience:

University Degree in Business or Law

Professional Qualifications and affiliations

Certification in Risk Management

At least 3 years experiences in a risk management role.
RADIOGRAPHERS
Reporting to the Medical Director, the incumbent will perform radiologic, ultrasonic and ECG
examinations on patients sent for the same and avail the results to the referring clinician
He/she will perform portable examinations on the wards and in the operating theatres and
schedule appointments for and instruct patients and guardians/caregivers on preparation for
special examinations.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications and experience:

Diploma in Radiography with full registration with the Radiation Protection Board

Demonstrated skill in ultrasonography

Experience in CT radiography will be an added advantage
