creating bespoke spaces, has brought us together
to become K-Tribe Studió.
Our portfolio encompasses architecture, ecoarchitecture, interior architecture, spatial design
and interior design for residential and commercial
projects.
From initial concept through to final installation, we
are dedicated to inspiring clients’ own imagination
and creativity. Precise planning and close
consultation with clients are key elements of the
design process; by combining exacting standards
with warmth and informality, the whole process
becomes enjoyable and rewarding.
Our friendly no-nonsense approach and our strong
belief in meticulous attention to detail, combined
with our multi aspect experience result in beautiful
and functional interiors.
We continually aim to exceed expectations.

St Katharine Docks,
London Penthouse I
This 10-year old duplex penthouse apartment,
overlooking a marina on London’s River Thames,
had never been updated. We provided our
clients with a complete turn-key service including
spatial planning, interior design and decoration.
As well as installation of new services, we also
redesigned bathrooms, the lighting scheme and
bespoke joinery throughout;
on-site project management was essential.
Reconfiguring the interior layout allowed
more room for accommodating the clients’ art
collection. The rich and luxurious look was
achieved by using Venetian polished plaster
on the walls in the hall and fitting upholstered
wardrobe doors, lush carpets and bespoke
furnishings. We used a palette of rich colours
inspired by the clients’ artwork and the marina.

St Katharine Docks,
London Penthouse II
We were recommended by former clients to
design their neighbours’ duplex penthouse.
The apartment was extended on both sides. A
state-of-the-art cinema room was built in one
extension incorporating a large retracting glass
ceiling. The wall panelling is echoed throughout
the apartment and conceals closets housing
audiovisual paraphernalia and, in the kitchen, it
conceals doors to the study and the rear terrace.
The kitchen, now housed in the other new
extension, was designed to be a social space
where friends can gather before spilling onto the
main terrace overlooking St Katharine Docks.
All the rooms overlooking the marina have glass
folding doors; when fully opened, the apartment
feels like a pavilion.

By retaining the existing exposed brick walls and

reusing existing ceiling fans and lighting we were
able to spend the savings on a new floor, wall
lights and furniture. We also created a new fascia
for the bar.
In the cloakrooms, we installed new sanitary
ware, plenty of mirrors and a Dyson blade hand
drying system. The walls were painted using a
technically advanced system designed for use
in public washrooms; the floors were covered in
seamless, hardwearing vinyl.

Aladdin, kashmir
This dilapidated former warehouse, situated in
the beautiful valley of Srinagar in Kashmir is in
the process of being demolished and reimagined
as an upscale family restaurant.
Our first challenge with this, currently live, project
is to work within the existing L-shaped footprint.
The extensive brief includes provision of a dining
hall offering privacy at each table, as well as a
reception area, fully accessible washrooms, a
professional kitchen and office. In addition, we
have been commissioned to design a landscaped
garden to compliment the restaurant.
In homage to the warehouse’s architecture, we
aim to use materials that will echo the building’s
previous function. These concept images give
an insight into our design process and how we
visualise the finished project.

Show homes,
London
When we design show homes, we consider the
target market and design accordingly. From our
extensive and varied portfolio we have selected
just a few show homes to illustrate our versatility.
The first is a classic design. The décor suggests
luxury and comfort and is aimed squarely at more
mature, high net worth homeowners.
The second, is part of the Barratt Green House,
which won the national architectural ‘Home
for the Future’ design competition, sponsored
by the National House Building Council. This
family house has been designed using green,
environmentally sensitive materials throughout for
low impact, sustainable living.
Finally an apartment situated in an upcoming
part of town, is aimed at young professionals and
has a more on-trend, fashion conscious look in
keeping with the local demographic.
