Car Care for our Special Ladies
On Saturday, May 9 we will be having a special day for
all of our single women, single moms, and widows. We
recognize that life can be a little crazy at times and that our
single moms and widows can have unique challenges. You
have to balance a budget, take care of kids, drive to ball
practices, doctor appointments, groceries, work, and you are
doing it all alone. So let us give you a break and pamper you for a little while.
We want you to bring your vehicle in and let us change your oil, check your fluids,
check your tire pressure and give your vehicle a wash. NO COST FOR YOU! While we are
taking care of your vehicle you can head downstairs and have some food and relax
while receiving a manicure, pedicure, or a massage (trained and licensed professionals).
NO COST FOR YOU! We will also have volunteers to watch your kids in the game room
and on the playground. We want you to just be able to kick back and relax for a little
while.
This is open to anyone in the church who is a single

Japan Acts
Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant
Garry & Weiling Kline’s oldest daughter,
Ellissa, graduated from high school. For the
foreseeable future, she will stay in Japan to
work and save up for college while solidifying
her hard-earned language skills. Garry and
his family will rely on her advanced skills for
translation and interpretation in order to
spread the Good News together.
The Klines are making great progress towards
their goal of doing something every day for
the advancement of the Kingdom. They
currently have four different Bible studies
going with 1-2 more in the works. They also
committed to spending time each week to
meeting new people. Keeping a routine
makes it easier to connect potential leaders
in a format that is relaxed and highly
reproducible. The results so far have been
very promising. Thank you for praying!
This fall the Klines will return to America for a brief
home assignment and need to raise $6,000 more
to add to what they already have saved.

Life’s Choices
Baby Bottle Fundraiser
On Mother’s Day we will have 100 empty, plastic baby bottles in
the lobby of the church. We encourage you to take one or more
home with you. You have until Father’s Day to fill these baby
bottles up with change. We ask you to return all baby bottles to
the church no later than Father’s Day. If you were unable to completely fill the bottle with
change, just bring it back with however much change you were able to collect. Every coin helps!
Life’s Choices ministers to women, men and children in crisis pregnancies. Life’s Choices is able
to do this from donations of concerned churches and individuals (they do not receive any help
from government agencies).
Some services provided to clients include; maternity clothes, car seats, crib, and baby clothing.
These items are given out through the Earn While You Learn Program which empowers young
women to learn how to fish instead of just eating one fish! Purity peer counseling is presented
to every unmarried client. Abortion Recovery Ministry for women emotionally scarred from a
past abortion experience is offered through a Bible Study, “Forgiven and Set Free”, and for
post abortive men, “Healing a Father’s Heart.” Also provided, FREE Limited Obstetric
Ultrasounds to abortion vulnerable women and men.

Adopt-a-Puppet
for a Child in Jamaica!
Youth at Lake Eustis Christian have started an Adopt-APuppet Fundraiser to help raise money for their mission
trip to Jamaica in July. "Adopting a puppet" is an
opportunity for you and your family to provide a child
who lives in poverty with a very special gift. It also gives
you the opportunity to be involved with the children that
the youth will be interacting with. Look for the youth table
that will be set up in the lobby to find out more about how
you can help.
See Maria Avans if you have any questions.

Marriage Enrichment
“From This Day Forward”
Everyone dreams of a fairy-tale marriage—the perfect spouse, the perfect
home, the perfect family. But reality tells us that these expectations don’t
hold up very long. Many studies indicate that close to fifty percent of
marriages don’t make it. With those odds, is it even possible to have a
good marriage—let alone a great one? The answer…Of course it is!!
In a new video series led by authors Craig and Amy Groeschel, we will find
that couples can conquer the odds in a culture where “I DO” doesn’t necessarily mean forever, in
order to find the joy, passion and strength of a marriage built by God. We will be growing together
to learn how to beat the odds and rely on God as our primary bond in the marriage relationship.
Whether you are struggling in a marriage, planning to get married, or feel that your marriage is
going great, you owe it to yourself, your spouse, your family, and your reputation to join us for this
adventure in marriage.
We will meet on Monday nights from 6:30-8:00pm. We will begin on Monday, June 1st and will
meet for 6 weeks. We will have childcare available as well. Please sign up and let us know that
you are planning to attend by marking your Connection Card, contacting the office, or by
registering in the lobby. There is a cost of $10 per couple for this class to cover the materials. If
you have questions about the class or if you should attend, please call the church office.
Move
Christ
In
Youth
Dear Church Family,
First, I would like to say thank you for all the love that Lake Eustis Christian shows to our
students! Second, I would like to share with you a little about Move. Move (CIY) is more than just
another conference or camp – it’s an experience! It’s an all-inclusive event providing food,
lodging, recreational activities and an amazing program. Our adult leaders are provided with
small group materials prior to the event, and then we meet with CIY staff each morning to go over
each day’s lesson. Students are challenged through intense, interactive worship, dynamic
preaching, small group study and community building. It provides programs for over 27,000 high
school students. The cost of Move is $350.00 per student.
Please be in prayer now for our high school students to have open ears and eyes so they
can clearly see and hear Jesus. As of right now we have 24 signed up to go. If you are reading this
and wish your child could come please let me know. Move has changed my life forever! When I
attended Move as a student it made a huge impact on my life. It opened my eyes to how Jesus
wanted me to live. The dates for Move are June 7th – 13th. This next part is from the Move website
which is talking about the theme for the week.
In high school. At work. On a team. In a family.
For four years. For eight hours. All season. Your whole life.
Your geography is limited. Love it or hate it, you can only be in one place at a time. But you can
do more than just survive. You can embrace your place. God placed you here. And He's here too.
The book of Daniel is an ancient story with modern implications. A group of teenagers were exiled
to a foreign land, left to deal with the reality of life in a diverse world. In the shadow of Babylon,
they learned it is possible to speak the language of a culture yet still worship God. It's possible to
long for home but still speak truth with love and grace. The Kingdom needs you to bless the
country – not the other way around. This was Daniel's story. And it's your story too.
MOVE 2015 invites you to look at your own life through the life of Daniel.
To join the beautiful resistance ...
To stop hating culture and start creating culture ...
To live life under the rule of the King ...
To pray a new prayer ...
You are here.
For more information or you would like to sponsor a student please call me at the church office at
352-589-2235 or email me youth@lakeeustischristian.com. Thanks in advance for loving and
praying for our kids!
In Christ,
