Ballard Preschool Co-op | 2011 | - playground design | construction documents | budget estimates
Viewlands Elementary School | 2011 | - inspirational master plan | fund raising | organizing
Guatemala Design Build | 2009 | Our group of 15 students from the University of Washington designed and constructed a learning garden for the Safe Passage School in Guatemala City. Conducted community meetings, produced initial and revised designs, generated construction documents and performed all major construction and finishing. The garden provides intimate seating, a performance space, a sensory garden and outdoor classroom space for Safe Passage’s 400 students
Brighton Playfield and Science Park | 2005-07 | Conceptual design and funding for the creation of a $200,000 public park dedicated to science education. Implemented a six week design curriculum with 60 Aki Kurose Middle School students and conducted additional charettes with teachers and science curriculum specialists. http://www.seattle.gov/parks/proparks/projects/brightonplayfield.htm
