The Banquet Hall, Castlereagh Boutique Hotel The purpose of the dinner is to thank all those who made the formation of Sydney Eye Lions possible including all the members’ contributions and the committee, which this year will be outgoing and renewed. These two years have been momentous for Sydney Eye Hospital Campus with exciting breakthroughs and advances for the potential improvement in the prevention and cure of blindness; not least the opening of the Bicentennial Eye Clinic with its particular focus on retinal and corneal eye diseases and important clinical/surgical firsts for the Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospital. We will have two Guest Speakers to discuss breakthroughs and their current research projects and forthcoming activity. Sydney Eye Lions Meeting blends with Sydney Eye Hospital, which has broad outreach throughout Metropolitan Sydney to Westmead and beyond throughout New South Wales and includes the Royal Darwin Hospital serving the aboriginal community in the Northern Territory, extending from Darwin, to Katherine, Gove and Torres Strait Islands with surgical and Eye Health Services.
