These are the premier programs for teaching how government works while developing leadership skills & an appreciation for your rights as a citizen. As a participant in the program you, will run for office, learn public speaking, create and enforce laws and actively participate in all phases of creating and running a working government in this exciting and fun summer program. You’ll meet other students from across your state and develop leadership skills that will shape your future. This camp will take place June 7-12 for Boys and June 14-20th for Girls. If you are interested in attending Boys or Girls State please go and give your name to Mrs. Fanning in the counseling center by April 24th. The counseling office will send you pass! The public is invited to learn more about the proposal and share comments with members of the committee.
