The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, organizational and communications skills. He/She must have excellent writing skills and possess a basic understanding of the Detroit transportation landscape. This candidate should thrive in a fast paced environment while being attentive to details. He/She must be comfortable working in a diverse community interacting with stakeholders from a variety of racial, ethnic, religious and social-economic backgrounds. Candidates must also have experience performing community outreach and service projects. Experience using graphic design software such as Adobe CS5 is also highly desired, but not required. They should have completed significant course work in the major/minor of Communications, Marketing, Community Development Economic Development, Social Work or Urban Planning.
