TO ORDER LUNCH, please write your order on the outside of a lunch bag.
Include your name and class, and enclose money. Please do not use staples on lunch bags.
Place orders in the classroom canteen-basket at roll-call, or deliver directly to the canteen before
commencement of classes
Orders received late may be subject to substitutions.
Snack items and drinks will be available over-the-counter at recess, i.e. 10.50am -11.05am
and during the active lunch break i.e. 1.00pm -1.20pm

The Canteen is endeavouring to provide healthy choices for our students
in line with the State Government's Fresh Tastes @ School initiative.
The canteen plays an important role in promoting good nutrition because it can:
* give students a taste for healthy foods
* support nutrition messages taught in class, and
* show students better choices for lunches and snacks
GOOD NUTRITION FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE :
- improves learning and attention span
- improves physical and psychological well being
- promotes growth and development
- reduces the risk of diet-related health problems such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, some cancers,
stroke, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, dental caries and obesity
PLEASE JOIN US - Your kids would love to see you in the canteen!
The Canteen is kept open by volunteers, and needs more volunteer helpers!
If you are able to assist anytime between 10am and 2.00pm (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, once a term,
