FRACTURED FAIRYTALES
Be ready for the unexpected! FRACTURED FAIRYTALES is full of twists and turns
that transform familiar fairytales into a whole new wacky fairytale world full of
laughs and fun!
Age Group: This Junior Music Theatre Camp is designed for boys and girls ages 7
through 13. It’s a perfect opportunity to have first-hand experience with all the
fun elements that make up Music Theatre – singing, dancing, acting, and making
props and sets.
What To Expect at the Camp:
It will be a fun-filled, fast-paced week of learning......with plenty of fairytale
characters to choose from for speaking parts, acting, solo and group singing.
After the first day you will know what items you may need for a costume.....any
items that can’t be found at home will be provided. Snacks and drinks will be
available for purchase at the camp.
Camp Staff:
Camp Co-ordinators: Sharon Carter and Rita Frank
Stage and Music Director: Wendy Kondrat from Calgary, Alberta
Stage and Drama Director: Anne Gatha from Calgary, Alberta
Daily Schedule: 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
By the end of the first day campers will go home knowing what parts they have in
the show. Every day will include drama, singing, dancing and several snack
breaks, a lunch break, and time for fun with friends.
Performance Day Supper: Friday, August 14th - A supper hosted by Marysburg
Centre of the Arts will be offered to performers and their families, (free for
performers), before the performance begins.
