2015 Easter Tennis Tournament
FORMAT AND RULES
This year's Easter Tennis Tournament will be run along similar lines to last year.
Events will be graded into divisions of eight (where possible), thereby ensuring three matches per entrant per
event, with reasonably close standards.
The round robin matches will be completed, to the extent possible, on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday
morning, with all finals being played on the Monday (mostly in the afternoon).
Entries must be made on the net at Trybooking via http://www.trybooking.com/7156
Rules

Entrants may not enter more than three events.
Entrants may not enter more than one singles event.
Entrants may not enter any one event more than once (even if with different partners).
Ages (for "over age" events) are determined as at 31 December 2015 (consistent with Tennis West rules).
Minimum ages are specified for the “over age” events as follows: 50 for Men’s Singles, 55 for Men’s Doubles and 50
for Ladies Doubles.
The Tournament Committee will grade events, at its sole discretion, so as to ensure as even matches as possible,
and at least three matches per event.
The Tournament Committee reserves the right to split, combine or cancel events where there are insufficient
entries or for any other reason that the Tournament Committee sees fit to do so.
Play will commence from 9.30am each day.
Due to the inconvenience caused to other participants as a result of changes to scheduled match times, all
matches must be played at the scheduled times; requests for changes will be considered by the Tournament
Committee only in cases of emergency; any player not on court within 15 minutes of the scheduled time will
automatically forfeit the match (unless a player is engaged in another scheduled match).
Round robin matches will be first to nine games with a tie break if 8-all.
Winners of round robin sections will be decided on matches won and if matches are even, the winner will be
decided according to the winner of the match between the tied competitors. In the event of a three way tie, the
winner will be decided on total games won minus total games lost.
The Tournament Committee will decide how to allow for any walk-overs so as to ensure equitable treatment of all
competitors.
Entrants must play all matches in the round robin so as to give others a full complement of matches.
Withdrawals are only permitted at the Tournament Committee's discretion.
