Clubman’s Autotest
Sunday 24th May 2015
1.
The MG Car Club Yorkshire Centre will organise a Clubman status autotest on Sunday 24th May 2014 in the
lower level Car Park at the John Smith’s Stadium, Stadium Way, Huddersfield HD1 6PG.

The meeting will be held under the General Regulations of the Motor Sports Association (incorporating the provisions of
the International Sporting Code of the F.I.A.), these A.S.R.’s and any written instructions the promoting club may issue
for the event.

An M.S.A. Permit will be applied for this event.
The event is open to all fully elected members of the promoting club and invited guests.
Club membership cards will be inspected at signing on, but M.S.A. competition licences are not required.

The programme of the meeting will be as follows:
Signing on and Scrutineering start 13.00 hrs. Any competitor not signed on by 13.30 may be excluded
Driver Briefing 13.35; First Test 13.50.

The event will consist of six classes as follows:(1)
Sports Cars – s.w.b (e.g. MG Midget)
(2) Sports Cars – l.w.b (e.g. MGB. MGF)
(3)
Pre 1955 Cars
(4) Saloon Cars
(5)
Ladies
(6) Specials
Excepting Specials which do not need to be currently registered or taxed (M.17.1) all vehicles must be road
legal and comply with M.S.A. Technical Regulations
Awards will be presented as follows:
a.
BTD
b. Class win – subject to 3 entries
c.
Ladies
d. Novice
e.
Award for teams if 3 declared not later than signing on, subject to at least 3 team entries.
Except for e. above a driver may not win more than one award. Awards will be presented at the Centre Annual

Awards Presentation held as part of the annual lunch event early in 2016 as advertised on the Centre Website.

The maximum number for the meeting including reserves is 40. The minimum is 10. The maximum number
of entries per class is 20. The minimum for each class is 3. Should any of the minimum figures above not be
reached, the organisers reserve the right to cancel the meeting or amalgamate classes as necessary.
The entry list opens on 1 May 2015 and closes on 18 May 2015 at the pre-event fee of £11. Completed entry
forms presented thereafter up to the day of the event may be accepted at the organiser’s discretion but at a
cost of £12 per entry. All entries must be made on the official entry form and accompanied by the
appropriate fee. Cheques or Postal Orders must be made payable to the ‘MG Car Club’.

[a] Tests will be based on 5 cones, not intended primarily as a tests of memory. Details of tests will be issued
at signing-on.
[b] Practising is not permitted and will result in exclusion.
[c] Drivers will have a minimum of two runs at a minimum (time permitting) of six tests, all runs on each test
to count.
[d] Cars will be identified by numbers provided by the organisers to be displayed on the car.
[e] Timing will be by Stopwatch to one hundredth of a second
[f] The starting signal will be verbal. Positioning on the start line will be determined by the marshal
[g] Timing will start when competitor’s front wheels move off the start line.
[h] Drivers will attempt the tests in numerical order, except where a car is shared by two drivers.
Provisional Results will be published as soon as possible after the event.
Protests must be made in accordance with MSA regulation C5.
All other MSA Specific Regulations for Autotests (M) apply except for M.4.2 which is replaced by ‘Pylons shall
be marker cones of less than 1m in height of non damaging material.
The site of the tests is located in the lower level car park off Stadium Way Huddersfield adjacent to the John Smith’s
stadium accessed from the B6432 St Andrew’s Road. The entrance to the site will be marked by an MGCC sign.
Drivers are required to drive slowly and carefully around the site and adhere to marshal’s instructions.
