Elie was responsible for opening The Moubment Group’s first venue, Lychee Lounge in 1999, which is now recognised as one of Brisbane’s best cocktail bars. Johnny is the operations manager of The Moubment Group, looking after the everyday running of the company’s businesses. After studying film at Griffith University and enjoying success in the industry for a number of years, Johnny joined his brothers to grow their burgeoning hospitality business. Judith is human resource manager of the company. As the backbone of the business, Judith liaises with The Moubment Group’s venue managers to ensure everything runs smoothly. She is also responsible for the hiring of new talent, contract administration and reporting. Whether she’s arranging an international DJ act, organising a bar opening or planning a Melbourne Cup marquee, Katie’s innovative ideas and attention to detail ensure every event is unforgettable. Ella is head of functions planning at the company. The endless organiser, Ella is responsible for arranging functions across The Moubment Group’s venues, from corporate events to cocktail parties. Ella also works with the marketing team to develop creative promotional concepts across a range of projects. Our resident creative genius, Christyn is responsible for creating the marketing collateral and promotional material for the company across digital and print platforms. Mel is the business development manager of the company and oversees the acquirement and management of the venues’ spaces. Having managed retail stores for a number of years prior to joining the family business, Mel has vast experience with commercial property and finance management. Charlotte is the public relations and digital marketing manager of the business. Never far from her iPhone, she oversees the company’s social media activity and liaises with local and national media to manage the Group’s profile across traditional and new media platforms. 24 BEN WILLIAMSON GROUP EXECUTIVE CHEF Award-winning chef, Ben Williamson, joined the business in 2012 and leads the kitchen team at MiddleEastern eatery Gerard’s Bistro and its sister venue Gerard’s Bar. Ben now works with chefs across The Moubment Group’s portfolio, acting as a consultant and mentor. DANIEL PASLEY GROUP GENERAL MANAGER Daniel ‘Pas’ Pasley is our man about town and group manager of The Moubment Group’s venues. As head chief at Laruche, Pas oversees the everyday running of the bar including stock management, rostering and reporting. PERRYN COLLIER FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER Perry ‘Pez’ Collier is an awardwinning mixologist and venue manager of West End stalwart, Lychee Lounge.
