Inspiring a Community of Givers A Project of Napa Valley CanDo Nonprofit Application Applications are due by 11:59PM, June 16, 2015. Welcome to CanDo's Napa Valley Give!Guide application process. To apply for the Give!Guide your organization must be a registered nonprofit serving residents of Napa County for two years or more. Prior to applying, a representative of your organization must have attended one of the 2015 NPO orientations. All participants from previous editions of the Give!Guide need to re-‐apply. If your nonprofit is selected, some of the information you provide in this application may be used in your 2015 Napa Valley Give!Guide listing though you will have an opportunity to proofread. Additionally, if you are selected there is a participation fee ranging from $300-‐$500. The amount is on a sliding scale based on your NPO's annual budget. This will be due on July 8, 2015. It is the intention of the Give!Guide to include a cross section of nonprofit organizations in the Give!Guide each year. This application is designed to accommodate nonprofits from small to large. Please do not be concerned if some of the questions do not seem to apply to your organization. Simply make note of your particular situation. While ACTUAL SERVICES are these: In 2014 Friendly Farmers established 27 new garden plots, trained gardeners, provided free tools, seeds/starts, offered kids' gardening classes, held composting workshops, and assisted with harvesting and delivery to the food bank. 15. Describe some of the strategies you will use to promote the Give!Guide and appeal to first time donors.
