Step 1: Submit online application for NEW students only







Click on the Online Registration link found on the top black
toolbar
Select your school from the school dropdown menu
Click the GREEN “Register Students” button
Click the BLUE “Register New Students” button
A list of NEW students with the following information will come up:
 First three letters of the student’s last name
 First initial of student’s first name
 Student with their District ID
Click on a student Last Name and the application window opens on the right
Click on the check box next to the desired location type and use pulldown to select a
program:
 CTE – Barry Tech or LIHSA
 Alternative Ed – Doshi STEM or one
of the Alt Ed Programs

Other ( NOT APPLICABLE for Nassau BOCES)
Application for CTE & LIHSA Arts


Select the CTE/ARTS Course Preference (up to 2)
If applicable select Integrated academics for CTE

If you selected the Alternative Ed location, select one of the programs listed under the pull down
And then select a MATCHING Coser

SAVE THE RECORD
 When all selections are completed, save the
record by clicking the Blue Save changes button
on the bottom of the window
 Note: If you wish to remove a Registration request previously submitted for a
student, click the RED Remove Registration button.

Step 2: Complete & Print a copy of application, obtain signatures, attach all
required documents, and mail to RSIP Central Registrar.








Once the application is submitted, student list window will open again
Find the student & click on the Printer Icon
that appears in the Action Column on
the right
Student’s application form will open up with the program choices you picked
Replace the xxx with the student’s full name
Complete ALL blank FIELDS on the form
ELECTRONICALLY
Click the BLUE Printer icon in the upper right corner
of the Application Form to Print
Click the BLUE Print Icon to print the Application
Form.
Obtain all authorized signatures, keep a copy for
your records, attach all applicable supporting
documents from the list below and mail it to the
RSIP Central Registrar
 Attendance records
 Health and Immunization records
 Report Cards including Regents
information
 Transcript
 IEP
 504 Accommodations
 Psychological
 Vocational Assessment


The status column will indicate
for the student
Once the registrar receives the printed form and supporting documentation, the status
of the student’s application will change from ‘Submitted’ to ‘In Review’.
At this time the Online Application process is completed
o No changes can be made online. Please contact the Registrar for any changes.
o Upon Acceptance, the registrar will send an ACCEPTANCE LETTER to the student and
to the district counselor
