NELSON COUNTY FARM BUREAU PRIZES: Highest Nelson County Farm Bureau
Female and Male MEMBER scorer will receive $100 and be named Male and/or Female
Farm Bureau Outstanding Youth and compete at the 5th District Contest. (*see below) Runner
Up will receive $50.
OPEN SHOW RULES - Contestant must be…
1. a resident of Nelson County;
2. 15-years old at the time of the contest, but not have reached 19-years old, by January 1,
2016;
3. submit simple application by the deadline; July 9, 2015, 4:00 p.m. to the offices below.
*FARM BUREAU CONTEST RULES – member winners must…
1. have a parent/guardian who has their membership with the Nelson County Farm Bureau;
2. represent Nelson County Farm Bureau at the 5 th District Contest held at night between October
and November in a nearby county; (NC Farm Bureau $100 award would be presented that night.)
3. represent the 5th District following the Kentucky Farm Bureau Rules, if winning the District
Contest, as one of Kentucky’s 11 district finalists (male and female) will compete for significant
prizes at the Kentucky Farm Bureau State Convention at the Galt House in Louisville on a

Contest, and perform as one of Kentucky’s 11 district acts in the variety showcase at the Kentucky
Farm Bureau State Convention held at the Galt House in Louisville on a Friday night in early
December.
