Charity Program Introduction
The Niagara Falls International Marathon has launched Kilometres
That Count as a Charity Program with the goals of raising funds for
social impact and community good and fostering a spirit of
community celebration. NFIM has made this a priority. This
program will provide more value for charities and allow charities to
participate in this fundraising opportunity in a meaningful and
much higher level.
Charities have an opportunity to engage runners who have agreed
to run on behalf of their charity of choice and raise funds for their
cause. Charities will also have an opportunity to receive donations
collected from runners at the time of registration with a minimum
donation of $10. Charities will receive branding awareness
opportunities plus an enhanced marketing package from NFIM.
The program is structured to increase the number of charity
runners, offer greater awareness for the charity, and reduce costs.
