Welcome to Nordia 2015
You are very welcome to participate in Nordia 2015 as exhibitor, stamp dealer, representative
for an auction company or staff member in a stamp issuing post organization.
We, in the organizing committee, have been working for more than two years to create the
ultimate experience for you who love stamps and postcards; the best event since the year 2000
in the Stockholm area. We do hope that you will enjoy this.
The exhibits, which are due for the show, represent philately and postcards in the entire span
from top of the world to exhibits by new exhibitors just in the beginning of their international
career. The exhibits show the enormous span of philately; geography, history, research,
culture, contemporary, modern exhibit layout and a lot more. Philately and post card
collecting is, indeed, a matter of multiplicity of topics.
I, as chairman of the organizing committee, am proud of the dedicated work, perfomed by all
my committee members to create a real show for all of us. I am also very glad that so many
stamp and post card dealers, auction companies and post organizations have decided to join
us. We intend to offer an extensive program. The complete program will be published in the
exhibition catalog and on our website ( www.nordia2015.se ).
In this Bulletin # 2 you will find all information you need to finish your preparations for
participation. Exhibit bags will be sent to all exhibitors during the month of September. Now
there are a number of actions to be taken. Please read this bulletin carefully, complete
requested forms and do not forget to mail them to us in time!

Important information about Nordia 2015
Jury Members - Changes
Jonas Hällström has left the position as Chairman of the Jury. To my great pleasure, Lars
Engelbrecht (Dk) has accepted the position as Chairman. In addition to that Hasse
Brockehuus von Löwenhielm (FIP juror) has joined the jury.
Gert Fredriksson has left the position of member of the jury for personal reasons. We have not
yet got any replacement.
Confirmation of Participation and Payment of Frame Fees
As exhibitor you need to confirm your participation by sending the enclosed confirmation
form, with necessary information added, not later than August 1st to your commissioner.
The frame fee, according to Bulletin #1 and enclosed letter of exhibit acceptance, should be
paid according to guidelines given by the national commissioner not later than September 1st,
2015. On the same time it is favorable to pay for the insurance policy, participation in the
exhibition banquet and the RPSL reception.
If you don’t have a Swedish bank account, the account of the exhibition for international
money transfer is IBAN SE44 9500 0099 6034 0715 5260, BIC NDEASESS (payment
recipient “Nordia 2015”).
Exhibit Bags
Exhibit bags (one for each frame), size A3, will be sent to all exhibitors during September.
They should be used for all exhibits, except exhibits in the literature class. One bag should be
used for each frame.
Delivery of Exhibits/ Mounting and Dismounting of Exhibits
Guidelines given in Bulletin #1 are changed as follows: Exhibits which are to be mailed to the
commissioner to Sweden should be sent to the following mailing address:

Opening Hours for the Exhibition
Friday October 30th – 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Official opening October 30th at 11 a.m.
Saturday October 31st – 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Sunday November 1st – 9 a.m.-3- p.m.
Accommodation

We have room reservations in four different hotels. Please visit our website
(www.nordia2015.se ) for hotel locations, room rates, reservation procedures and reservation
codes.
Travelling by Public Transport and Taxi to the Exhibition
You need a prepaid ticket for travelling with public transport in the Stockholm area. Tickets
can be bought in all Pressbyrån kiosks, in the Metro gates and in all shops with the SL
logotype (white text “SL” on a light blue background). If you plan to travel frequently during
the weekend a 48 or 72 hours ticket is the best option. Information about travelling and tickets
is available on www.sl.se .
The best way of travelling from Stockholm city to the exhibition is to choose the light rail,
Roslagsbanan, from Östra Station /Metro Station Tekniska Högskolan (destination
Åkersberga/Österskär) to the stop Galoppfältet. Then follow the signs. You can also choose
the metro (red line, destination Mörby Centrum) to Danderyds Sjukhus, change to bus line
605 and travel to bus stop Gribbylund Södra. Then follow the signs.
If you intend to travel by taxi, we strongly recommend only Taxi 020 (yellow cabs, tel 020-20
20 20), Taxi Stockholm (tel 150 000) or Taxi Kurir (tel 08-300 000). Please avoid all other
taxi companies! All these three taxi companies apply fixed price (440-490 SEK per cab) when
travelling from Arlanda to Täby or reverse.
Travelling by Car to the Exhibition
Entering Täby on the motorway E 18 (from North or South), please leave the motorway at
exit 183, turn towards Täby Kyrkby and continue under the light rail Roslagsbanan.
Immediately afterwards turn left in the roundabout and follow the signs. We have plenty of
parking spots within 100 meters from the exhibition venue.
Cash Point
A cash point (named Kontanten) is available at the Statoil gas station about 300 m from the
exhibition. Visa and Master Card are accepted cards.
Reception for Fellows and Members of the Royal Philatelic Society London
(RPSL)
RPSL is hosting a reception on Friday October 30, at 4.30-6 p.m. in the facilities of Åva
Secondary School (the Hotel and Restaurant Program). The school is located just around the
corner from the exhibition.
Fellows and Members of the Society are welcome to attend. Additionally a number of special
guests will be invited. Preregistration is mandatory not later than September 15th , to Jan Berg
(e-mail: jan.berg@mbox306.swipnet.se ). The fee for participation is 100 SEK. It could be
paid either in conjunction with paying the frame fee (preferred) or when picking up the ticket
in the Exhibition Reception, 6th floor.
Exhibition Banquet with Palmarés
The official banquet of the exhibition, with Palmarés, is given on Saturday, Oct 31. We
gather in the Gallery, 3rd floor, for a drink at 7 p.m. We should be seated at 7.30 p.m. We can
host 200 persons.

The price for a three course dinner, including wine, is 695 SEK pp. Preregistration is
necessary, preferred with the enclosed confirmation form. Payment is wanted in advance
preferred in conjunction with paying the frame fee. Payment can also be given in conjunction
with picking up the ticket in the Exhibition Reception, 6th floor.
Shuttle Bus between the Hotels in Täby and the Exhibition
It is not simple to use public transport from the hotels in Täby to the exhibitions during ”red
days” (Oct 31st and Nov 1st). A shuttle bus will provide transportation service according to the
time schedule below. The fare is 20 SEK per trip. Tickets can be bought in the Exhibition
Reception and they should be given to the bus driver when entering the bus.
For members in Scandinavian Collectors Club, a three day ticket is prepaid and included in
your trip package. You should keep your ticket throughout the entire exhibition and show it to
the bus driver when entering the bus.

Feedback from the Jury
If you want feedback from the jury you need to send an application (a letter, an e-mail) to the
Chairman of the Jury not later than September 15th . Feedback will be given during Sunday,

November 1 and announced in the exhibition venue. Applications for feedback should be sent

Insurance Policy for the Exhibit
You, as exhibitor, has to provide a valid insurance policy in conjunction with the confirmation
of your participation. The policy for the exhibit shall cover the period from leaving the home
of the exhibitor until when the exhibit is back again. An exhibit without a valid insurance
policy will not be displayed during the exhibition and, subsequently, not subject for the jury
evaluation.
Payment of Participation Fee for Stamp and Postcard Dealers, Auction
Companies and Post Organizations
Participation fee should be paid prior to September 15th to the following account: IBAN
SE44 9500 0099 6034 0715 5260, BIC NDEASESS. You will get an invoice in the beginning
of August.
Name Tags
Staff members, jury members, commissioners, exhibitors and commercial representatives are
supposed to wear a name tag during the exhibition. During the buildup and dismount periods
you are not allowed to stay in the venue without name tag. You can pick up the name tag in
the reception of the exhibition on the 6th floor.
Bus and Car Parking
The right side of Kemistvägen, when travelling towards the exhibition, is reserved for bus
parking. Spaces for car parking are marked with special signs. In total we have close to 400
parking spots. The line closest to the hotel is reserved for cars for disabled visitors. Please
accept this!
Entrance Fee and Exhibition Catalog
Admission to the exhibition is free. An exhibition catalog can be bought at the front desk (1st
floor) or in the reception of the exhibition (6th floor). The price for the catalog is 20 SEK. The
catalog will contain an article of significant importance about Swedish Postal History.
Manned Cloakroom
A manned cloakroom is located on the 1st floor (close to the hotel reception) and on the 6th
floor. The fee is 10 SEK per item. The cloakrooms are open from 15 minutes before to 15
minutes after the opening hours every exhibition day.
Photography is Prohibited in the Honorary Class Area
It is not allowed to use cameras, mobile telephones or any other picture registration device in
the area of the Honorary Class. Please pay respect to this!
