ACTIVITY:
V ARES Tactical Raid:
The Raid will consist on a tactical march route in which the patrols will have to
pass a series of tactical and sport trials.

LOCATION AND DATE:
Torres de la Alameda, Madrid. Spain.
April 24th, 25th & 26th, 2015.
PARTICIPANTS:
- ARES members.
- Spanish and Allied Armed Forces reservists.
- Spanish and Allied Armed Forces active members.
- Police and Security Forces and Civil Protection.
- Spanish and Allied Armed Forces veterans.
DOCUMENTATION:
Passport or ID-card.
AVAILABLE PLACES:
150 participants.
TEAMS:
- Teams of 4 members.
- Individuals can register and would be assigned to a team by the organization.
ACOMMODATION AND MEALS:
Camp inside sport facility.
The organization will provide Friday and Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch.
Breakfasts and meals during the competition will not be provided by the
organization. The supply of water and food during the competition will be under
competitor’s responsibility.
MEALS VOUCHERS:
In the check-in (Friday), meal vouchers will be delivered to the participant teams
for Friday and Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch. For accompanying persons,
meal vouchers will be sold that same day.
TRAVELS:
Costs by own participants.
SCHEDULE:
Friday, April 24th
18:00 to 19:00: Teams Check-in municipal swimming pool facilities.
20:00: Inauguration ceremony and competition briefing in Town Hall
21:00: Dinner.
The competition can start at any moment.
Saturday, April 25th
20:00: End of Competition.
21:30: Dinner and Party.
Sunday, April 26th
11:00: Formation and ceremony drill
12:00: Prize and closing Ceremony
13:00: Lunch
14:30: End of activities
REGISTRATION FEES:
- ARES members and family 31 Eur per person.
- Non members 46 Eur per person.

Teams would send a single e-mail to register the four team members.
Individual registrations will be allowed and will be assigned to a team.
The deadline for registration is April 17th, 2015
Steps for registration:
1. Bank Transfer to:
Caja de Ingenieros, IBAN Code: ES06 3025 0003 90 1433241696,
referencing the registration to the ARES RAID.
2. E-mail to raid@ares-resvol.es, sending the copy of the payment invoice
and the Excel registration form including the participants data:
Name, surname. ID-Card or Passport Number.
The organization will answer by e-mail to confirm the registration and to send
additional information and meeting point on due time.

EQUIPMENT.
Equipment provided by the organization:
At the start of each stage a topographic map, or aerial picture, a control card
and a route sheet with detailed instructions will be provided to each team.
All specific equipment necessary for the execution of each trial will be provided
by de organization except for gloves, airsoft protection goggles and airsoft guns.
Personal Equipment.
Each team member should be equipped with:

Cold and rain clothes.
Bivouac Equipment
Whistle
Airsoft protection goggles
Protection gloves.
Food and water.

Mobile Phone in Operating state. During the competition the mobile
must be kept off and will only be used in case of emergency.
- Each patrol team should be equipped with compass and Firs Aid Kit

Spare clothes and shoes
Sun glasses
Hat or cap
Energetic food
Pocket knife or multi-tool
Airsoft gun and BB’s. It is not obligatory to carry airsoft guns during the
Raid, however, some trials provide part of the score by the use of airsoft
guns (*)
(*) – For international participants and to avoid the complications of
transporting airsoft guns by plane or through customs, the organization
can provide airsoft guns for rent if requested in advance at least five
weeks before the competition.
UNIFORM:
During the competition, campaign uniform by ordinances of the units of the
participants.
TRIALS:
The Raid will consist on a series of tactical and sport trials and pass controls
along march route in the countryside around the host village. There could be
some changes for meteorological or unpredicted causes.

Additional information about directions and the competition will be provided to
the registered teams in the weeks before the competition.
