NUCCA CHIROPRACTIC & MASSAGE THERAPY
Happy Spring! With the changing of the Seasons, it’s easier to find new energy to make change. Take this opportunity to make a change that can positively affect your health. Find out how much water your body needs and drink it. Guidelines recommend about 2 litres for women and 3 litres for men. Almost all fluids count except coffee and colas. Symptoms that can indicate you’re not getting enough can include irritability and ‘foggy brain’. For the calculation please go to my website at www.nucca.ca. Almost anyone can benefit from orthotics, from
children to adults. However, because
everyone’s feet are unique, orthotics should be
specifically designed and custom made for you.
Our orthotics are made
using the latest
technology in orthotic
casting, giving you an
exact fit for your feet.
Why Wear Orthotics?
Biomechanical changes in your feet and ankles
can create conditions such as flat feet, ankle
pronation, hallux valgus and bunions. Wearing
orthotics can reduce the effects of these
changes on your feet, knees, hips and back;
and support your alignment.

Back Pain is a major
Health Issue for Ontario
Back pain can result from many causes,
including: muscle strain; restrictions in
the movement of the spinal joints or
pelvis (sacroiliac joints); lifting; disc
injuries; and weakness of the core
muscles which support your lower back.
Sometimes lower back problems can
cause pain, tingling or numbness in your
legs and feet. Your chiropractor can
examine you correctly to determine the
cause of your pain and recommend
treatment.
The experts report:
• The Public Health Agency of Canada
found that, in 2008, the direct
costs (i.e., drug, hospital, and
physician care) of LBP care in
Ontario amounted to more than
$390 million.[iii]
• In 2012 nearly 20% of Ontarians
reported that their back problems
were chronic.[ii]
• In 2013 the WSIB reported that over
the previous 10 years, LBP was
the leading part of the body
injured, accounting for 17-18% of
lost time claims.[iv]
If you experience back pain that lasts for
more than a few days, consult your
chiropractor.
