She has concentrated on teaching yoga since 1988. A leading light in yoga for over two decades, Bridget’s Youtube© meditation and Anusara® videos have been viewed over a million times. As a visionary in the yoga market she has authored numerous articles and books. In Triyoga’s recently released, Everyone Try Yoga’ she designed and demonstrated the Yoga practice. Building from simple shoulder openers, we will create mobility through the spine and four corners of the body by embracing Anusara’s Universal Principles of Alignment. For more information contact us at yamayogastudios@gmail.com or 66175802 SATURDAY 23RD MAY GRACE 7:30AM – 9:30AM SPACE 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM In this class we learn how to open the hips safely and effectively by use Anusara’s Universal Principles of Alignment. Discover how the action of the expanding spiral in the legs effects the alignment of the pelvis and how this will help with hanumanasana, padmasana and inverted versions of these. The workshop will be interspersed with pranayama and finish with a meditation. Our creative energy is the energy of transformation. Tapping into it helps us to shed past patterns and mindsets that hold us back or block the fullness of our creativity. In this soulful namaskar series of up lifting yoga postures and arm balances we will reconnect to the inner warrior and gain access to that energy of transformation. THERAPY 11:30AM – 1:30PM The psoas muscle works with the gluteal muscles to stabilize the pelvis. Tightness or weakness in this area can affect how we stand physically and emotionally. In this session we will explore the psoas and learn how to test if it is tight or imbalanced and what steps to take if it is.
