Synopsis
Taylor and Vaughn are teetering on thirty, unemployed, and reside in Taylor’s parent’s basement.
Their girlfriends just chewed them a new one about their most recent failures, they broke their
favorite bong, and they’re out of beer. Life sucks, but none of that matters – SHHHHH! Bear is
starting.
Bear is the alpha survivalist, capable of finding his way out of the most perilous environments
imaginable in the manliest of ways – camel-carcass snuggy as a means of weathering a Sahara
sandstorm, anyone? He is also Taylor and Vaughn’s hero, and the lead-off episode of the new
season of his how-to reality survival television series, Bear vs. Wild, is coming on. During the
airing our heroes learn of the “Man Up” video submission contest, a chance to win an opportunity
for two to join Bear for the season finale taping in an undetermined test of survival – not to
mention fifty grand in cash.
The realization that this is their calling in life, and the means to putting all their slacker-oriented
shortcomings behind them, slowly weasels its way into their psyche. They decide the best way to
“Man Up” is documenting a genuine attempt at survival in the wilderness themselves, and they
decide it’ll take it up a notch if they’re able to lead their girlfriends to safety as well. Despite one
being late (yes, that kind of late) and the other a borderline Antichrist, the girls agree to play along
under the premise that they can spend the cash on securing and decorating a cozy little love nest
for the four of them. The foursome packs up a camcorder and not much else, convince Taylor’s
condescending older brother to drop them off miles from civilization in the Ohioan outback, and
we’re off. The trials and tribulations they’ll face in the adventure back to their parent’s basement
will leave them pondering at every turn – what would Bear do?

Josh Folan’s acting credits span numerous film and television
appearances dating back to 2005, highlighted by leading roles in All
God’s Creatures and Episode 50, a three year stint on ABC’s All My
Children, appearances on NBC’s Kings and CBS’ As the World Turns,
and supporting roles in the acclaimed indie comedies Ay Lav Yu and

Avery Pearson was blindly lead into the woods by Josh Folan where he was left
for two weeks and told that he should be method 'cuz that's what real actors

Graci Carli is extremely humbled and proud to be making her feature film debut
working with the skillful cast and crew of What Would Bear Do? Originally from
Ohio, Graci is currently located in Manhattan and working as an actor, writer,
and musician. Recent film credits include I Remember; directed by John Sylva,
and The Undefined; directed by David Pring-Mil. She can also be seen in the
upcoming Billy Boy condom commercial, effectively ruining her future in politics,

Molly Fahey is excited to share her love of comedy in her first costarring feature film role as Lynn in What Would Bear Do? Molly can
also be seen in the feature film All Gods Creatures with WWBD
Director Josh Folan and multiple commercials and print
campaigns. Currently, Molly resides in NYC where she performs with
various improv and sketch groups around the city. Keep your eyes
peeled for Molly in the sci-fi superhero franchise, NEW-GEN, where
she plays the role of Gazelle.

Brian Leisring spent his time on the wwbd crew climbing cliffs and ledges as well
as swimming rivers with lenses not made for adventures, let alone shoulder
mounts. In his short time here in NYC so far, he has worked on numerous
commercials, short films and music videos, with his client list ranging from Tesla
to Edward Sharpe and the Magentic Zeros. He would love to DP your next
shoot, but beware, along with his kit fee you must also pay him in coffee, as he
has been known to drink twice as much as provided for the entire cast and
crew.
Sound Mixer/Editor
Christy Illius does sound. In her short time in New York, she's worked for
Style Network's Clean House, MySpace, Lifetime, and can currently be found
spending her free time at Professional Sound Services. She is now in NYC
freelancing. You should contact her after the show if you need a sound
person, cause she's really the only (rational) talent that was involved in the
film. Besides Fuhritz. She's also the only one who ever really listens to
Avery's jokes--but only because she's wearing the headphones and has to.

Writer/Director/Producer
Folan established NYEH Entertainment in 2008 after the dissolution of
Amsterdam Artists, where he produced multiple stage productions over the
course of the company’s two-year lifespan, including a sold-out run of
Howard Korder’s Boys’ Life. Teamed with Nitty Gritty Studios and Sid &
Nancy Productions, NYEH produced the web series Bad Apples in April of
`09, followed by numerous commercial projects to round out the year. The
same team collaborated in 2010 on All God’s Creatures, a dark romantic
thriller also penned by Folan. The award-winning short, it’s just One line,
was his first directorial venture. He directed What Would Bear Do?
because the film’s producer couldn’t find anyone willing to take less money
to do the job.

Led by singer-songwriter Scott Terry, Red
Wanting Blue is proudly based in Columbus,
Ohio, but might as well be America’s local
band. For years, the group had been hiding in
plain sight as Terry went about logging
thousands of miles on the road throughout the
nation’s heartland, making fans the hard way –

Red Wanting Blue’s latest studio recording From The
Vanishing Point is a coming-of-age album for the band and
its first to be recorded for a label after several self-released
records. Picking up where its autobiographical previous
release These Magnificent Miles left off, From The
Vanishing Point is the answer to those whose heads have
been turning to ask, “Who is this band?” The album sheds
some of Red Wanting Blue’s small-town sensibilities as it
evolves into the world-class rock n’ roll outfit that audiences
have believed in for years and marks an official move to the
national stage for a band that will always remember where it's
