Pre-registration is required Breast Cancer Education and Support GroupProvidence St. Vincent Medical Center – First and third Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Advanced Cancer Support Group Providence Portland Medical Center – Every second and fourth Tuesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. A place where individuals with advanced cancer can discuss difficult issues and connect with others. Colon, Rectal and Anal Cancer Education and Support GroupProvidence Portland Medical Center Third Tuesday of each month from 5 to 6:30 p.m. For individuals facing colon, rectal or anal cancer. Pre-registration is required. Family Program GroupProvidence Portland Medical Center – Meets the second Thursday of the month, eight months out of the year. Please call to register and confirm the scheduled dates. Dinner is served from 6 to 6:30 p.m., followed by group from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Children and teens that have a family member diagnosed with cancer benefit from a safe environment in which they can express their feelings. Meets on the first Tuesday of February, May, August, and November.
