Palo Alto Little League
2015 Fall Ball
The Palo Alto Little League (PALL) Fall Ball is a developmental program that
provides youth from 9-12 years old an opportunity to play organized baseball
during the fall season. For the Fall 2015, PALL will operate three Fall Ball
leagues:
Intermediate (IM) Division is for players of 2015 Little League ages 11 or 12
yrs., who have played spring Majors for at least two years. IM will play with
5070 rules on a 70 foot diamond. Some local travel and games on Sundays may
be required.
Little League (LL) Division is for players of 2015 Little League age 9 – 12 yrs.,
who have played;
1 spring Majors or
2 years of spring PCL (9 - 12 yrs. old) or
1 yr. spring AAA (11 - 12 yrs. old).
This league will use current Majors rules with some modifications as determined
by the player agent.
Little League B (LLB) Division is for players of 2015 Little League age 9-10
yrs. have played;
1 yr. PCL or
2 years PM or
1 year AAA.
(9 years or older with 1 yr. of PM can sign up to be evaluated for LLB)
This league will use current PCL rules.
Note: Fall Ball placement does not imply nor indicate next Spring’s
placement.
Upon email request, evaluations can be arranged to be placed outside
of the default constraints described above. You will remain in your
default division until an evaluation is completed by the Fall Ball agent.
The goal is to provide a fun experience for the players, help them develop and
refine their baseball skills, and to encourage their enjoyment for the game.
Players will be accepted into the league based on their registration date and
evaluation. After teams are filled, a wait list will be generated.
Space is limited. There are no assurances of enrollment once capacity
is full.
All leagues will play 10 games in a fall season from September through
the last week in October. Teams will be competitively balanced and games will
be “serious”, but not extremely competitive. Standings will not be maintained
and a league champion will not be declared.
Players who join Fall Ball will be asked to make a commitment to participate in
most of the Fall Ball practices and games – however, it is recognized that some
Fall Ball players may participate in another sport during the fall season (e.g.,
soccer, football, etc.) – conflicts will be managed between the player and their
manager.
Registration Fees for Fall Ball are $150 per player which includes a uniform
jersey and cap.
Below are additional details about the Fall Ball program’s operations.
