Consular Camp June 2015 A two-member Consular team led by Mr. Fahad Amjad, Vice Consul, Consulate General of Pakistan in Vancouver would be visiting Calgary on 11th & 12th June 2015 and Edmonton on 13th & 14th June 2015 to set up a Consular Camp for providing consular services to the Pakistani community. Immediate notes (Updated June 10 2015): 1) For the duration of the Consular Camp following services will be provided; some services will be provided at a cost: A) Payment: Cash, debit and credit card will be accepted during the Consular Camp. B) Prepaid self-addressed return envelopes will be provided during the Consular Camp. C) Application forms will be provided during the Consular Camp. D) Photo services will be provided during the Consular Camp. The remainder of the requirements must be prepared completely when visiting our Consular Camp according to the instructions available on our website www.pcgv.org Applicants that come prepared with a complete application (including prepared fees, photos, forms ect.) to our Consular Camp may wait in line immediately upon arrival. 2) Prepaid self-addressed return envelope will be required for services where your application will be returned by mail. 3) Machine read-able passport will not be issued during the consular camp. 4) Please note any passport applications received to our office in Vancouver between June 11-14 2015 will not be processed until after June 15 2015. Only certain applications/documents will be ready during the return of documents date of our camp; the rest of the application/documents will be mailed back to the applicant from our office in Vancouver. List of applications/documents which will be returned during the consular camp on return of documents day in Calgary camp June 12 and Edmonton camp June 14 2015: *Prepaid self-addressed return envelope is not required in this case; please come to pick up your documents during the return of documents date for your city. *Any documents not collected in time will be left with PCCA Alberta or PCA Calgary. *Please note machine read-able passport will not be issued during the consular camp. Manual passport (urgent service only) *Please note lost passport applications will not be returned during the return of documents day. Visa Please note the following exceptional cases where your visa application will not be processed during the camp: 1)NGO/Work, journalist or student visas will issued after the approval from Pakistan. Please allow minimum two months to process approval from concerned authorities in Pakistan. 2)Visa application for Indian passport holders will only be issued after the approval from Pakistan. Please allow minimum two months to process approval from concerned authorities in Pakistan. Extension of Manual Passports Endorsement of Child Amendment in Manual Passport Attestation of documents * Acceptable documents includes attestation of power of attorney’s, affidavits, bank account opening forms, pension papers/live certificates and Canadian/Pakistan issued certificates/documents. Child Registration Transportation of dead body to Pakistan Transfer of Residence List of applications that will be collected only on collection of documents day and returned by mail: *Prepaid self-addressed return envelope must be included with your application. You may use any courier service like Canada Post, FedEx, Purolator, UPS, DHL, ect. to have your documents returned. Please keep record of your courier tracking number so you may track your shipment once your documents are mailed back to you from our office. Most courier companies have carbon copies of the shipping label with a shipper/sender’s copy which is for the customer to keep; this will have your tracking number on it. *Please note machine read-able passport will not be issued during the consular camp. Collection of application for Manual Passports on ordinary service Collection of application for National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistani (NICOP)/Pakistan Origin Card (POC) Collection of application for Lost Passport *Please note passport is issued after verification of lost passport. Collection of application for Attestation of Driver’s License Collection of application for Police Character Certificate Collection of Visa for NGO/Work, Journalist or Students *Please note visas will issued after the approval from Pakistan. Please allow minimum two months to process approval from concerned authorities in Pakistan. Collection of application for Visa on Indian passport *Please note visa for Indian passport holders will only be issued after the approval from Pakistan. Please allow minimum two months to process approval from concerned authorities in Pakistan. Collection of application for Declaration of Renunciation of Citizenship Collection of application for Pakistan Remittance Card Important points a. To download forms and to obtain any other information relating to documents required for various consular services, consular fees, etc, please visit website www.pcgv.org.Those who do not have access to internet, may call the Consulate General at 604-569-1415 or send e-mail at info@pcgv.org. b. Cash, debit and credit card will be accepted during the Consular Camp. To pay by certified cheque or money order: Applications for National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistani (NICOP)/Pakistan Origin Card (POC) must be accompanied by certified cheque or money order of prescribed consular fee and made out in the name of “NADRA Pakistan”. Fees for all other services must be accompanied by certified cheque or money order of prescribed consular fee and made out in the name of “Consulate General of Pakistan”. c. Urgent Passport will be issued on the next day on deposit of requisite fee. Applicants applying for regular Pakistan Passports should enclose a prepaid self addressed courier envelope with their applications for returning their passports after 10 working days. d. Applicants enclosing prepaid self-addressed courier envelope should keep record of your courier tracking number so you may track your shipment once your documents are mailed back to you from our office.
