Road – Glenthorne Road connects directly with the A377 (Cowley

University Information
The University of Exeter is ranked 7th by The Times Good
University Guide 2015 and has 6.1 applicants per place.
The Sunday Times in 2012 named the University of Exeter the
Sunday Times University of the Year 2012/13. The Complete
University Guide published in the Independent, lists Exeter in 10th
place. The Times Higher Education Guide World Rankings has
placed Exeter 154th for 2014/15.
The University is also a member of the Russell Group of leading
research-intensive universities. According to HESA 13/14 data,
there are 19,520 students enrolled of which 18,260 (94%) are
full time (or 18,175 full time students for 13/14 according to the
University). Students come from over 130 different countries.
There are 14,915 (83%) full-time undergraduates and 3,345 fulltime (17%) postgraduates. There are 5,080 (26%) international

The University of Exeter is currently ranked amongst the top 200
universities in the world, but its ambition is to reach the top 100 by
