PENFIELD GARDEN RAILWAY GROUP (The Gauge 1 section of Penfield Model Engineers) You are invited to attend the 5th Annual PGRG Invitation run, a yearly gathering of like minded people with Gauge 1 trains, a venue where interested parties can bring their trains to run or display, share knowledge and make new friends. Where:- Penfield Model Engineers Society, Woomera Ave, Edinburgh, 5111 When:- Sunday, 9th of August, 2015. From 10am till you run out of steam (or volts). Facilities:- A ‘NEW’ elevated double track mainline ideally suited for spirited live steam running and long battery powered trains (12’ rad. curves), plus a branch line for those who prefer some slow running. *sorry NO track power is available. Tables will be provided for buy/sell and to display loco’s and models so bring your latest large scale pride and joy, even if it can’t run on the track. Amenities:- Clubroom with canteen and toilets, shade and shelter available to cater for all weather’s!. Cost:- $12.00 per person (spectators and drivers), children under 15 free. Your admission will include a sausage sizzle lunch. Coffee and tea, cool drinks and snacks can be purchased from the canteen all day. MyLocoSound will be hand with their range of products for demonstrations and sales. This is a fund raising day for the Penfield Garden Railway Group, please respect that when I ask for admission, all donations gratefully accepted.
