Visit to Casela World of Adventures
A whole day in total harmony with nature
The Public Officers’ Welfare Council (POWC) is organising a visit to Casela on Saturday
01 August 2015 for public officers and their families.
2. The cost of tickets, which is Rs.850/- per adult, Rs.750/- for children aged 3-12 years and free
for children under 3 years, consists of the following:

3. In addition to the above, optional and sensational activities will be offered to POWC
participants at discounted price as follows:
(i) Zip lines 400 m- 22 seconds of free flight @ Rs 650/ participant; and
(ii) Canyon swing – vertical cables and ‘take off’ from platform 45 m from the ground @ Rs. 350 /
participants.
Payment for the optional activities should be effected at the POWC.
4. Participants will be provided with vouchers for activities mentioned above. They will be
allowed to do these activities at any point of time during the day. However, all activities will be
operated on a first come and first serve basis.
5. Lunch will be served from noon to 1300 hours near Kids Corner and will consist of the

7. Please note that the buses will leave from their respective collecting points at the time
indicated above and from Casela at 1600 hours. Latecomers will have to make their own transport
arrangements in both cases.
8. Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis on Saturday 27 June 2015 as from 0900
hours at the office of the POWC, 6th Floor, ATOM House, 16, Royal Street, Port Louis.
9. The Council will continue to receive payments as from Monday 29 June 2015 during office
hours.
10. Public officers interested to join the excursion are requested to fill in the enclosed form
and submit same together with the exact amount to the Organising Secretary of the POWC.
11. The POWC reserves the right to cancel the outing in case of bad weather or any other ‘force
majeure’. Participants will be refunded accordingly.
12. It would be appreciated if the contents of this letter could be brought to the attention of all
the staff of your Ministry/Department. A copy of this circular letter is reproduced on the Council’s
