We have a number of courses and activities available. You must enrol first to secure
a place on any course or workshop. Places are allocated on a first come, first served
basis. Please allow plenty of time before the course starts to come in and register at
the centre in person. Information can be found on the back of the brochure.

NEW - Get the most out of your tablet online
This year we’ll be running free introductory training courses for Circle Housing Circle 33 residents
on how to use tablet computers. Each course includes three sessions in venues in Camden,
Hackney, Haringey, Islington and Waltham Forest. Each person will be provided with a tablet and
internet access to use during the course and will be taught skills such as setting up a tablet and
installing apps. Places are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis. To register or find

Pilates exercise group for all abilities with a fully qualified
instructor. The sessions are subsidised by the Fit for Fun
programme and from January to March cost just £2 per
session.

Senior citizens luncheon club
This service has been organised and run by local volunteers
since 1955! A friendly get together for lunch and socialising.
The usual menu is ham, new potatoes, salad, bread and
butter, dessert and a cup of tea - all for just £2.50 per person.
Everything is prepared fresh on the day and the club is rated
5/5 by the Food Standards Agency. New members welcome,
pre-booking essential, phone us to register your interest.

Bingo sessions at Priory Court are great fun, cheap to play,
and a great way to meet people and socialise. Teas and
coffees are also served. Just turn up on the day to play!

Priory Court gardening club
Priory Court Community Centre has its very own sustainable
food growing garden where we grow everything from
tomatoes and beetroot to onions, lettuce and courgettes. We
want to encourage people of all ages to enjoy the benefits
of growing their own food whether it be in gardens, on
balconies or indoors. We are available each week at the
Centre to provide gardening advice and guidance.

Line Dancing
Line Dancing for all ages and all abilities! Keep fit with this
fun and social activity. During each two hour session you’ll
have plenty of time to learn the steps and then put them
into practice. The sessions are subsidised by the Fit for Fun

painting, sewing and knitting, soft furnishings, day trips out,
flower arranging, jam and pickle making are just some of the
things we have done. New members welcome, please phone us

Bees Knees sewing and quilt making group
We are an adventurous group who create quilts using
hand and machine sewing techniques, embroidery, fabric
paintings, beadings, textile dying, and create unique sewn
pieces by design. Some sewing skills are required to take

Volunteering opportunities at Priory Court community centre
Volunteering is a great way to get involved with your local community, meet new friends and learn
a few new skills along the way. We have many different exciting volunteer opportunities and always
looking for people to join our team

We now have our own honesty library! You can borrow any of our books for free! No checking in or
out, no time limits, no fines. We just ask that you return them when you’ve finished with them.
Circle Housing Circle 33 Cash for Communities
Would you like to start a community project or do you belong to a community group? Look no
further, our Community Chest is ready to assist, and it’s so easy to apply. You can apply for a grant
from £50 right up to £1500. All you need to do is tell us your ideas and find three other residents to

services listed below - You can request for a home visit if you are unable to
visit me at the community centre.

Suffering from anti-social behaviour? Don’t wait till the morning to tell us!
Circle Housing Circle 33 now has in operation a dedicated out of hours
Anti-Social Behaviour helpline which is available from 5pm to 9am, 365
days of the year and whenever the offices are closed.
Residents can access this service by calling or emailing us.
