Maintenance Planner
Quant now have an opportunity for an Experienced Maintenance Planner to join
our Service team Base at CUB - Abbotsford Site, VIC. The Maintenance Planner‘s
primary role of is to management of the relevant maintenance systems, the
generation of routine, planned maintenance schedules and the support of
maintenance teams in the execution of maintenance.
You will be responsible for continuously developing effective maintenance practices
through implementation of improvements and provide on-going support to the
Manufacturing Way
Reporting directly to the Packaging Engineer, you will be responsible for but not limited to the
following:•
Achieve the packaging safety, financial, asset management and people management business
targets
•
Apply safety rules and safe practices as well environmental responsibilities while at work
•
Maintain a continuous awareness and practice of OHS&E standards to ensure that OHS&E
requirements are strictly complied to
•
Use of SAP CMMS to monitor performance of maintenance on equipment
•
Liaise with Controllers and/or Operational Team Leaders to develop work plans which
incorporate reliability improvement targets
•
Continuous liaison with CUB Production to ensure customer satisfaction
•
Au-fait with national and international engineering standards
•
Analyze plant and equipment performance and ensure implementation of appropriate actions
•
Recognize and take action in relation to opportunities to prevent breakdowns and improve
Overall Equipment Effectiveness
•
Investigate and analyze engineering issues as directed
•
Participate in maintenance meetings (e.g. in PM and BOM review)
•
Participate in improvement activities (e.g. in Root cause analysis (RCA)
•
Facilitate improvement team meetings with a view to identifying the root cause of equipment
failures on the plant and implement
•
Provide on-going support to the Manufacturing Way
As the successful candidate you will ideally possess the following qualifications and experience:•
Engineering Degree or equivalent (Mechanical, Electrical or Automation) or Trade and 5 years
supervision experience
•
Maintenance related experience in a FMCG /High Speed Packaging Industry
•
SAP experience
•
High level of computer literacy
•
Able to communicate effectively in English
•
Strong skills in planning, organizing and managing resources
•
Innovative and able to use initiative
•
Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision.
•
Sound communication skills.
•
Commitment to safety
•
Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
