3 RASi CHAIRMAN WELCOME
On behalf of all our Regional Academies of Sport, I am very pleased to extend a warm and sincere welcome
th
all our athletes, parents, spectators and our supporting partners – for our 10 annual ClubsNSW Academy
Games.
Our gathering of talented young athletes from across NSW continues to provide a wonderful opportunity for
our Regional Academies to display their athletes and celebrate their involvement in our Regional Academies’
programs.
The Games also provide a wonderful opportunity for the Academies across NSW to engage the sporting and
general community, and generate a greater awareness of the role of Academies in athlete development.
The Academies would like to recognise the tremendous support of our Principal Partner, ClubsNSW,
together with our Major Partner, the NSW Government (Office of Sport – Sport & Recreation.) Both of these
organisations have been with us since the beginning and their unwavering support is greatly appreciated.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our supporting partners in NBN Television, Sea FM and
2GO Radio Stations under the Southern Cross banner – and our many supporting State Sporting
Organisations and venue partners who assist in the operation of the Games.
Finally, in welcoming all our athletes, staff, family members and supporters, I would like to recognise the
tremendous efforts of the Board of Directors and staff of the Central Coast Academy of Sport, who have
taken up a considerable challenge in hosting the ClubsNSW Academy Games for the next three years.
Martin Bullock
CHAIRMAN
CENTRAL COAST ACADEMY OF SPORT CHAIRMANS WELCOME:
On behalf of the Central Coast Academy of Sport I would like to re-iterate the welcome from Martin Bullock
to all the athletes and support staff to the Central Coast. We are privileged to live in a fantastic area, and the
region is well accommodated by outstanding sporting facilities. I trust you enjoy every visit to the Central
Coast.
I would personally like to thank Emily Burgess-Moore (AS&E), Craig Morgan (P&PM) and Ian Robilliard (MD)
for their effort in delivering the ClubsNSW Academy Games to this region. It is a logistically difficult event
and I thank them, and the support they have received from RASi to get a platform from which to grow the
games.
Like Martin Bullock, I thank our corporate sponsors, without you the games cannot be delivered to the high
standard on show.
Good luck to the competitors and I trust you have some outstanding memories of your visit.
