In use today, hComms is comprised of two main components: hManager, for network planning and management, and hC2 for data sharing. hC2 SOFTWARE SUITE—COLLABORATE ACROSS ECHELONS Sharing data couldn’t be easier with the hC2 Software Suite. This complete command and control communications software solution connects all echelons—from headquarters to tactical edge— making critical information available where and when it’s needed with its four specialized products: hC2 Node Center, Command, Patrol and Dismount. The Harris hC2 Node Center RF-7800N-BM100 is a web-based battle management system that provides joint staffs and task force commanders with a detailed picture of large-scale operations through any browser in the network. This system enables forces to collect, combine and analyze thousands of live feed tracks to generate one COP for land, maritime, air and joint operations. It can include plans from underlying C2 systems while allowing users to view multiple maps, manage informational layers and view IP video. Adhering to many worldwide interoperability standards, hC2 Node Center is interoperable across domains and can convert and forward track information from disparate systems to coalition partners. Plus, with its low-bandwidth requirement, users can swiftly make decisions collaboratively without having to pre-install or sustain the software. Accessibility to the situational picture is therefore maximized to any authorized user within the headquarters or on the WAN. harris.com Specifications for: RF-7800N-BM100 hC2 NODE CENTER KEY FEATURES HARRIS hC2 COMMAND & CONTROL SOFTWARE COMPONENTS NODE CENTER COMMAND Common Operational Picture (COP) • • • • Layer management • • • • >IP > video view Friendly force tracking • • • • >Terrain > analysis Situation awareness/situation reporting • • • • Plan sketching • • • • Radio integration • • • • Terrain analysis • • Short text messages/structured messages • • >Track > feeds from various sources hC2 SUITE FEATURES >User > profiles >Multiple > map view hC2 Node Center integrates external track feeds into the JCOP.
