First and foremost a big thank you to you all for supporting us in the
2014 showing season, at our long time showing ground of Witton
Park.
The Trophy Show was very well supported by members and non
members alike and we managed to retrieve all of the old familiar
trophies. Our Committee put lots of effort into our Presentation Evening at Blackburn Rovers Football Club and this went with a bang.
The Annual General Meeting took place in November and a new
Committee was voted in -please take note of the changes and many
thanks to the members who stood down. A big hello to the new
serving members, I hope you enjoy show days and can see the end
results of all the efforts throughout the year, in and out of the
showing season.
The schedule also details the return of Side Saddle classes - please
also check the schedule thoroughly for other class changes.
As part of my message for 2014 I would like to personally thank both
Angela Crane and Janine Crook for the offer of their time in training
members who are interested in undertaking the Dressage and
Equitation classes in our shows this season— this is a really good
opportunity for members who currently undertake these classes but
want to learn more and members who are new to the classes and
want to gain experience before our first show in March. Please look
at the internet for further details.
Good Luck to you all.
