These day camps offer arts & crafts, music &
dance, drama & story time, swimming, basketball
and other fun activities for individuals who live
with intellectual and physical disabilities. Each
camper will be served a lunch and snack during
the camp day. Transportation is provided, if
needed, for those at our assigned pick up and
drop off points. Extended camp is offered to
parents who need their child to stay until 6:00
pm. $300/session or $550 for both sessions
Veterans Kickball & Dodgeball
May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and June 6, 1:00-4:00 pm,
all ages
This event is a kickball/dodgeball activity for
veterans and their families. This activity will
provide an opportunity for veterans to remain
physically active to promote a healthy lifestyle,
re-unite them with the community and provide
an opportunity for family time.This will be held at

Participants will be given to the basics of quilt

Adult Softball Summer League
Tuesday-Friday nights at 6:00 pm, ages 18+,

RCRC has a lot of great softball leagues for adults.
This is a fun way to get your co-workers, church
group or just a group of friends together. Get a
great workout while playing a fun game. We will
offer leagues on Tuesday-Friday nights at 6:00 pm
at different locations. We need at least six teams
to get the league started. If you do not have a
team we can help place you with one. All leagues
will start the first week of April. The regular
season will be 8 weeks with a single elimination
tournament at the end. Games are played at Polo
Road Park or Killian Park. Res. $300/team; NonRes. $350/team
Co-ed Fall Kickball League
Thursday & Sunday, co-ed ages 18+

We’re calling all kickball players to the ball fields
to have some fun. Become a kickball all-star and
kick it up a notch. Play this retro elementary
school game that competes on all skill levels.
Games will be held on Thursday nights at
Caughman Road Park or Sunday afternoons at
Killian Park. Come battle it out to see who is the
best. Games are officiated. $150/team

Greek Dodgeball
Register by June 5, co-ed ages 18+
Come play the team version of the classic game
of Dodge Ball. Players line up on separate sides
of the court and throw dodge balls until the
last man’s standing. Catch a players attempt to
get you out, they’re eliminated. At the end of
regulation the team with the last player standing
or the most players standing wins. Winner
receives a huge trophy, and also a $50 discount
off of next year’s registration. $150/team;
$30/player
Men’s Basketball League
Thursday, ages 18+, Register by August 6
Compete to be Kings of the Court. Jerseys are
provided for each team. Winner will receive the
Kings of the Court trophy and 1/2 off registration
fee for the next season Games will be held at
Bluff Road Park. $250/team
Men’s Flag Football
Register by August 1, ages 18+
See if you have what it takes to bring home the
championship during our fall league. Games will
be played on Sundays at Meadowlake Park with
each team guaranteed 8 games. Season will start
in August. No more than 15 players on a team.

Shinkickers Soccer League
Registration by August 19, co-ed ages 3-5; 6-10
Copy of birth certificate is required with
completed registration form. All participants
need to have youth size shin guards and a water
bottle at each practice and game. Earn your
goal in this fun and instructional soccer league.
Volunteer head coaches are always needed and
appreciated, and will receive 1/2 off registration
for 1 child. Fee includes jersey and trophy.

Ultimate Frisbee League
Tuesday & Thursday, 6:00 pm, co-ed ages 16+

6 game schedule with a playoff tournament.
Games will be played at either Meadowlake or
Trenholm Park. Games will be officiated.

Women’s Great American Kickball Classic
Saturday, May 30, 9:30 am-until, ages 18+
Register by May 22. Calling All Ladies! Come out
for a fun, competitive tournament of kickball
as we salute our Armed Forces. Tournament
Winners will receive $300 and a 1st place trophy.
2nd Place team will receive 2nd place medals.
This is a double elimination tournament.

competitors for a fun filled game. Will be held at

Summer Youth Cheerleading
Ages 4-15
Being a cheerleader is an honor and special
privilege. Youth recreational cheerleaders exist to
promote good sportsmanship, good citizenship,
and wholesome and enthusiastic team spirit.
Youth cheerleading gives young females the
opportunity to participate in a highly competitive
sport without contact. Youth cheerleading
also helps to get the players, coaches, parents,
sponsors and community excited about the
competition. Cheerleading will run consistent
with summer basketball. Participants will cheer
during basketball games. Cost covers shirt, shorts
and participation award. Parents will need to
provide black athletic shorts for participants.

Instruction covers correct stroke technique,
scoring, etiquette, and game strategy. Structured
play, drills, games, and other training to perfect
their strokes. Students should register by 2:00 pm
on the Friday before camp. Wear light colored
clothing, bring water, change for vending machine
and sunscreen. Beginner and Intermediate
classes offered. Rain makeup day on Fridays.

Action Cheer & Tumble Summer Cheering
Camp
June 15-18, 9:00 am-2:00 pm, ages 5-14
Campers are divided according to their age.
Elementary age campers focus on basic, age
appropriate cheers, dances, tumbling skills and
stunts. Middle school campers focus on more
advanced skills they may use to better prepare
themselves for school tryouts including daily
evaluations to gauge their progress and simulated
try-outs to give valuable experience for those
wishing to try-out for their school cheerleading
squad. Evaluations will be given daily. $30.00
non-refundable deposit; balance will be due first
morning of camp. Bring a bag lunch and snack.

Cornelius Summer Youth Football Camp

Non-Contact camp session, campers will
participate in drills and activities to further their
fundamental skills along with learning the team
concept of football. Campers will bring a bag
lunch and receive a morning and afternoon snack.
Each camper will receive a t-shirt. The camper
attire will be light colored t-shirt, athletic shorts,
and cleats. Early drop off will be 7:45 am. Register

The Marcus Lamore Foundaon, in partnership with Richland County Recreaon Foundaon, will host a
series of play days at seven different Richland County Recreaon Commission locaons on Sundays
throughout the months of May, June, July and August. Each Sunday between the hours of 2:30-5:30 pm,
we will have a variety of sport acvies for adults and children to promote health, wellness and
recreaon. The sporng acvies will include: kickball, so†ball, basketball, soccer and field day events.
“Sunday Funday” will feature vendors, giveaways and fun for the enre family. All play days are free to
the community. Registraon will begin online on May 1st. Please be advised that registraon will only
be open for two events per month. Space is limited.
