highlighted*the*centrality*of*the*negative*social*perceptions*of*online*video*game*players,*the*second*
examined* the* validity* of* this* perception* through* empirical* assessments* and* targeted* statistical*
analyses.* This* work* included* both* survey;based* and* experimental* research* designs.* Through* the*
course*of*this*research,*I*gained*a*high*level*of*proficiency*with*a*range*of*quantitative*data*analysis*
techniques,*including*ANOVA,*MANOVA,*and*hierarchical*regression*analyses.*I*successfully*defended*
