your club doing something special to promote literacy this month? Please share your
special events and stories with us through Rotary Times! Dream Act Win Now and
spread the miracle of literacy!
RYLA – GREAT EXPERIENCE: Our 2015 RYLA [Rotary Youth Leadership Awards] was held
over the President’s Day weekend. Both camps – the girls and the boys – had the best attendance
in recent memory AND represented most of the clubs in our District. Thank you to all who
helped make 2015 RYLA successful. Rotarians on the selection committees made excellent
choices of attendees. Rotarians serving as camp counselors did an extraordinary job of guiding,
mentoring, and encouraging the students to be the best they can be. Our RYLA oversight
committee did a great job planning the details and speakers. Special thanks to our Co-Chairs,
John and Sherri Reusche, for outstanding leadership and dedication to RYLA! Happy clap to
you all!!
SPECIAL RECOGNITION: What a joy it is to recognize those who are valued by their fellow
Rotarians for their continued dedication and support of Rotary. Please join me in congratulating
Lodi Sunrise’s Quiet Rotarians Phil Felde and Tracy Williams. Please join me in honoring
Lodi Sunrise’s Light of the Club Richard Ross!
