DESCRIPTION:
Girls’ volleyball coach with strong teaching experience and proven
technical, motivational and relationship skills. To provide on-going
leadership and innovation so that each student receives maximum
educational benefit as a participant and within a team concept of the
realm of interscholastic athletics.
QUALIFICATIONS Varsity level coaching experience or collegiate level coaching
experience preferred.

Federation of High School coaches Code of Conduct and the
California Interscholastic Federation Coaches Code of Conduct
 Demonstrate ability to communicate in a positive manner with
parents and players
Plan and implement the scheduling of team activities, tryouts,
practices, game plans and summer activities.







Follow District policies, site procedures, CIF rules and the CIF
Coaches Code of Ethics
Foster training in conduct, ethics and sportsmanship for all
participants
Supervise the team before, during and after practices, including
games and sporting events
Verify that each team member is cleared by the Athletic
Assistant Principal before allowing him/her to tryout or practice
Responsible for distribution and collection of all uniforms and
equipment and providing and end-of-the season inventory
Continually review the on-going effectiveness of the program at
all levels
Plan and implement fund raising activities to support need for
equipment when budget is limited
 Place highest priority on student academic success and social
development, in addition to athletic development, in full support of
the school’s instructional program and overall goals and objectives

Placement on the July 1, 2014 coaching stipend salary schedule:
$3,114-$4,147.
