FOCAL INTERNATIONAL’S 12TH
GLOBAL FOOTAGE AWARDS
F O C A L I N T E R N AT I O N A L AWA R D S 2015
The closing date for submissions to FOCAL International’s
12th annual footage awards is now past, but late entries will
be accepted up until 12th December.
The FOCAL International Awards, presented in association
with AP Archive, celebrate achievement in the use of
footage in all variety of genres, across all media platforms
plus its restoration. They also honour archivists, film
libraries, researchers and technicians, as well as the work
done to restore and preserve these irreplaceable assets.
“In response to feedback from guests at the last awards
ceremony, the number of categories awarded has been
reduced to 16, so that competitors, sponsors and guests
have more time for networking. I’m quite sure, however,
that the number of excellent award submissions from
around the world will not be affected, it just means a more
intense competition and a heavy burden of responsibility
on the shoulders of our judges!” said organiser Julie Lewis,
FOCAL International’s General Manager.
The awards will be presented at a glittering gala event on
21 May, 2015 at the Lancaster London Hotel and tickets will
go on sale in the New Year. For more information:
