me the names, emails, and mailing
addresses of whomever your children

Teacher Appreciation Week is Monday, April 27th
through Friday, May 1st. We have a lot of fun
surprises planned for our fabulous teachers
during this special week and we are looking to all
of the parents at Sacred Heart to help make it
happen! One of the best "gifts" we can give our
teachers is to cover the drop off times, lunch and
playground duties. We are looking for 100%
parent participation, so please sign up for a date
and time that works best for you.
Thank you in advance for your participation!
**Please note that if something comes up and
you are unable to fill your time slot, it is up to you
to find a replacement.**
Sincerely,
The Teacher Appreciation Committee

Ms. Stock’s Kindergarten has been hard at
work creating a beautiful piece of art that
will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
Please see the attached flyer for more details
on the auction for that. In the mean time
they are offering note cards with a picture
of their beautiful flag for $10 for a set of 6
cards and envelopes. We are taking orders
for these note cards through tomorrow. The
office is taking orders now, you can make
payments in cash or check, with the check
made out to Sacred Heart.
Doing spring clean up? If you come
across old Legos or karaoke
microphones, please bring them by
school. We are looking to bring
stop/start video, broadcasting, and
are investigating Lego robotics for
our CLC and need your help to get
started. So, if you have unused
Legos, Lego people, microphones, or
tripods please drop them in the
school office and we will put them to
good use! Thanks so much!

High-quality iPad and iPhone apps, when used in developmentally appropriate ways,
can help children overcome learning challenges and develop executive functioning
skills. Tamara Kaldor, developmental therapist of PLAY is Work, will demonstrate how
practitioners and parents can use technology with children affected by autism spectrum
disorders (ASD), sensory processing disorders (SPD), communication disorders, learning
disabilities, and other developmental differences. Quality apps can help improve
children’s communication and learning, articulation, expressive language, language
comprehension, and ability to follow routines, make transitions, and process/express
emotions. Participants will leave the workshop with practical strategies and techniques
for using the iPad, iPod Touch, and iPhone with young children.
TAMARA KALDOR, M.S. is a Developmental Therapist and the Director of Play is Work™, with over a
decade of experience supporting families with children with autism (ASD), sensory processing disorder
