SAGA 2015 Match Grant Opportunity
Dear SAGA community,
Wow, it’s been an exciting year at SAGA! The 2014-2105 school year is just weeks away from completion and already
proving a success with record enrollment numbers, thriving programs, and lots of happy, German-speaking learners.
This month we unveiled a new leadership structure that will guide SAGA into the future, and our 2015-2016 school
enrollment numbers are continuing their upward trend. Our future is bright!
We are writing to ask you to take the next step in becoming part of that future. An anonymous donor is helping jump
start our leadership restructure with a matching grant of $15,000. We are asking the SAGA community to join us in
raising $15,000 in matching funds by the last day of school, June 12th, so that we can add $30,000 in donations to our
budget planning for the 2015-2106 school year.
We are kicking off our fundraising efforts with this letter and will be running an active match grant thermometer at
the Abschiedsfest on June 4th 2015, starting at 6pm. Help us reach our goal by donating now!
Each member of our community is important to making SAGA’s and our children’s futures great. We are encouraging
everyone to make a contribution – as small or large as your family can at this time. It is through your generosity that
we are able to provide excellent German-immersion education to your children.
Donate online using a debit card at sagaschool.org or use the stub below and send it to SAGA along with your donation.
We also be accepting pledges and donations at the Abschiedsfest. Please pay pledges in full by August 31st, 2015 to
count towards our matching grant.
SAGA School is a 501c-3 nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible (SAGA Tax ID: 20-2607873).
If you have any questions concerning this match grant drive, contact Thomas Buchholz at treasurer@sagaschool.org
or at 802 881 5590.
On behalf of the SAGA board and the greater SAGA community, we thank you for your ongoing support to SAGA.
Thomas Buchholz, SAGA Treasurer
Lorrin Nelson, SAGA Interim President
