The 2015 AGC of Texas Management Conference is scheduled for June 14-18 at The Sebastian Hotel in
beautiful Vail, Colorado. The Vail/Eagle County Airport (EGE) is the closest airport to Vail Village. It
is one of the fastest growing airports in the nation, and Vail/Eagle County Airport services the entire
Vail Valley with seasonal winter, summer and fall service on four major airlines; Air Canada, American,
Delta and United with flights from Dallas/Fort Worth, and Houston. It is located just 30 minutes from
Vail & Beaver Creek. Car rentals are available at Vail/Eagle County Airport through Hertz.
The Denver International Airport is the about 100 miles from Vail and it is serviced by United Airlines,
Delta Airlines, Alaska Air, Frontier, Jet Blue, Southwest, U.S. Air, American Airlines, British Airways,
and Air Trans Airlines. Driving directions to Vail:
From Denver International Airport (DEN)
- Take Pena Boulevard from DIA to Interstate 70 (I-70) west
- Proceed for approximately 120 miles (estimated time: less than 2 hours) to the Vail exit #176
From Eagle County Airport (EGE)
- Take Cooley Mesa Road (main airport road) to Highway 6. Take a right on Highway 6. You will be
heading east.
- Follow Highway 6 to signs for Interstate 70 (I-70) east.
- Proceed on I-70 for approximately 25-30 minutes, to the Vail exit #176.

main pedestrian walkway, The Sebastian Vail is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and galleries. Take a
hot air balloon ride for a bird’s-eye view of the High Country or get your heart racing during a
whitewater rafting trip or ski lesson – all conveniently accessible from this boutique resort and private
residence club. The comfortable accommodations combine classic alpine architecture and contemporary
amenities and services for an experience both exhilarating and relaxing. Accommodations include a
stocked mini refrigerator with welcome refreshments and fresh fruit, complimentary Internet, and
nightly turndown service. Many of the upscale guest rooms and suites have panoramic Rocky Mountain
views – some with private balconies, perfect for sipping your morning coffee. There are two on-site
restaurants.

You can indulge in massage therapy services at the Bloom Spa,
(http://www.timbersresorts.com/lifestyle/spa/bloom-spa), or relax in the steam room or sauna. Guests
also have access to a pool and outdoor hot tub, exercise facilities, children’s center, heated garage, and
complimentary shuttle service.
The business sessions will be highly informative and will include updates on state and federal
legislation, highway funding, water issues, a full report on the 2015 Texas legislative session, and a
report on AGC of America and ARTBA activities as well as other items of interest to the industry.
The business sessions are scheduled for Monday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until noon. Continental
breakfast will be furnished Monday and Wednesday mornings from 7:00 – 10:00 a.m. On Monday,
June 15 at 9:45 a.m. we will have a spouse roundtable discussion/meeting which will include a
representative from The Sebastian to give a brief overview of the area and things to do, as well as
answer any questions that guests might have.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
Conference registration fees are $700 for the conference participant, $350 for spouse, $350 for
each guest (over 18 years of age), $200 for children 12 – 18 years of age, and children under 12 are
free. Please include names and ages of children on your registration form. The conference
registration fees include the Welcome Night reception, breakfast and coffee breaks on Monday and
Wednesday, the hospitality suite every night, and the reception and dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday
evenings. We do not have anything scheduled for Monday evening as a group.
ROOM RESERVATIONS
The Sebastian offers the following room accommodations based on a first come basis: Deluxe Plaza
Run of Hotel @ $195 per night; Deluxe Plaza King @ $245 per night; Executive 1-BR suite @ $595 per
night; Executive 2-BR suite @ $828 per night, all for single or double occupancy. To make your room
reservation, please call the Hotel’s Reservation department at 866-708-2353, and ask for the group code
#1067EG. Attendees will be required to pay first night room rate as a deposit. The remaining balance is
charged automatically 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations must be cancelled at least 30 days prior to
arrival to receive a refund, less a $75 processing fee. If cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to
arrival all monies are forfeited. The Hotel reserves the right to cancel reservations not paid in full 30
days prior to arrival. The group rate will be honored 3 days prior and 3 days after the conference. The
cut-off date for making room reservations is May 15, 2015.
SERVICES AND FEES
A nightly resort fee of $25 is assessed per individual hotel room and on a per bedroom basis for all
suites. This fee is comprehensive and provides the following enhancements to the guest rooms:












Nighty turndown service with a freshly made sweet treat
Selection of newspapers in The Library (New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, &
Vail Daily)

Access to Bloom Spa, steam, sauna, fitness center, pool, & hot tub

Valet parking is $25 per vehicle, per night. Self-parking is available at the town of Vail Parking
structure for up to $25 per day, subject to change at any time.
Porterage is $10.00 per person round trip for all group attendees arriving and departing via
charter
Maid gratuity is $2.00 per room per day.
Room deliveries start at $3.00 per room delivery. Pricing varies based on size and complexity of
the delivery.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
 Check-in time is any time after 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is before 11:00 a.m.
 Children age 12 and under stay free in same room as parents
 The hotel is a non-smoking environment. There are designated smoking areas outside the
Hotel. Attendees who smoke in the guest room will be assessed a $250.00 fee per day.
GOLF TOURNAMENT
The golf tournament will be scheduled for Tuesday, June 16th with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The
tournament will be held at The Club at Cordillera. Cost will be $200 per person which includes green
fees, cart fee, practice balls, $10 per person in golf shop credit, personalized scorecards, custom cart
signs, rules and welcome letter and scoring, as well as breakfast (breakfast burritos, coffee, & pastries).
Rental clubs are available for $60. In addition we will have hospitality beverage/snack carts on the
course throughout the tournament. We are asking for sponsorships again this year in the amount of
$250. We will have sponsor signs on the beverage carts and at the club house. Please complete the
accompanying golf registration form and return it to Debbie at your earliest convenience.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES
We have arranged for a tour of the Betty Ford Gardens in Vail Village on Monday morning, June 15 at
10:30 a.m. after the spouse orientation which will begin at 9:45 a.m. The cost is $10 per person.
Registration will be available as we get closer to the conference.
A whitewater rafting trip is planned for Monday afternoon on the Eagle River with Class III rapids at a
cost of $94 per adult and $84 per child (age 7-12).
Fly fishing is planned for Tuesday morning and will be $375 for a group of 3, or $125 per person. There
is one angler per 3 fishermen.
If there is enough interest we can schedule another whitewater rafting trip or fly fishing excursion for
Tuesday afternoon. Additional details on these activities will be sent in the near future. If you are
interested in whitewater rafting and/or fly fishing, please let Debbie know.

The golf tournament is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, 2015 with a shot gun start at 8:30 a.m. at The
Club at Cordillera.
Prizes will include: first, second and third place, closest to the pin, and longest drive.
The cost is $200 per person which includes the cart fee, green fees for 18 holes of golf, cart signs and
cart set-up, scoreboard preparation, scoring, breakfast, and hospitality beverage/snack carts during the
tournament. Rental clubs are available at $60 per set.
