NOTES FROM YOUR PREZ
WOW! Did you realize this is our 26th year as Sandhills Shag Club? We
really have history, don’t we? Some of you are fairly new to our club, but we
surely do have fun and make memories! We have had our ups & downs over
the years but we hung in there and we are still going strong! It takes a lot of
effort, dedication and genuine love for our club & the members. We are a
family of shaggers and friends! Thank you each one for being a part of our
beloved Sandhills Shag Club.
Thank you in advance to Norma & Johnny, Phyllis & Wayne, Linda & Robbie for volunteering to host our March party!! Thank y’all so very much!
Also, Joy & Donnie, Jackie & Tony and Donna for volunteering to host our
June party!! Thank each of you for volunteering! We really appreciate your
thoughtfulness!!
If you would like to volunteer for one of our parties, please let me or an officer know. If you are willing to decorate but not work the door, that will be
fine. SSC will pay for the tablecloths, etc. and give you a check for $35 for
decorations. Please consider volunteering. We would love to see your ideas
for a monthly party. Thank you.
Please remember, our party begins at 7:00pm, our meeting and then enjoy
our food table and dancing! It may be cold on the outside, but it won’t be
cold on the dance floor! Roy Childress is all fired up w/the best in shag
sounds and ready to go! LET’S PARTY!!
If you haven’t re-upped your membership, it’s not too late. There will be
forms at the door Sat. night.
As you go through your daily lives, please share some sunshine with all you
meet. You never know who might need a smile or a friendly hello.
Please remember to pray for our
Military, our Leaders and Each
Other!!
