Arranging dynamic movements of melodic phrasing over eccentric rhythms, shadowed by darkly textured breakdowns, the trio intend to create emotional and erotic soundscapes. Savage Lucy first proved their ability to entertain a crowd by winning Emerging Sounds Battle of the Bands 2011 just six months after formation. Since then they have been playing live in and around Johannesburg and Pretoria, including Kitchener’s, The Bohemian, Tanz, Shikisha’s, Rumours Lounge, Amuse Cafe, and Shivas Rock. Festival shows include Smoking Dragon (2012 & 2014), Oppikoppi (2013) and 4/20 D-DAY (2013 & 2014. Savage has shared the stage with the likes of The Tidal Waves, The Brother Moves On, BEAST, Birth of Joy (NOR), Last Supper (CAN), The Slashdogs, Cortina Whiplash, New Academics, Taxi Violence, Albino Beach, Poverty Of Ideals, ISO and Shadowclub. With roots in post/progressive metal, post and psychedelic rock, blues and jazz, Savage Lucy aim to build upon their influences, orchestrating sonic voyages that seize and provoke discerning ears. 2/4 : FACT SHEET / BIO / TECH RIDER : SAVAGE LUCY TECHNICAL RIDER Austen Guitar Richard Bass Steven Drums Guitar Pedals Amp Guitar line Bass guitar Pedals Guitar lines Snare drum Hi Hat cymbals Crash cymbals x 2 Double bass drum pedals Mic for guitar amp Mic line Bass amp DI / Mic Line from amp to board Snare drum stand Bass drum Hi hat stand Boom cymbal stand x 2 Floor tom Tom 1 Stand for tom Guitar -> Pedal -> Amp -> Mic -> Board Bass -> Pedals -> Bass Amp -> DI / Mic -> Board Snare drum -> Mic -> Board BAND SUPPLY VENUE SUPPLY LINE LIST Bass drum -> Mic -> Board Tom 1 -> Mic -> Board Floor Tom -> Mic -> Board Hi Hats -> Mic -> Board STAGE PLAN GUITAR AMP MONITOR Cymbals -> Mic (Small venue: Overheads) -> Board BASS AMP DRUMS HOSPITALITY RIDER EACH MEMBER WILL REQUIRE MONITOR MONITOR G U I TA R MIC SPEAKING > SINGING BASS FRONT OF STAGE 3/4 : FACT SHEET / BIO / TECH RIDER : SAVAGE LUCY On stage 1 bottled water (still) Backstage 1 bottle water (still) 1 drink from bar 1 meal IMAGES DROPBOX LINK TO HI-RES IMAGE GALLERY https://www.dropbox.com/sh/s5bvxkskt92apvh/AAAySOIlJ4onEB6Mt6YBJuqJa?dl=0 Durban 2013 Oppikoppi 2013 Verstaan?
