Il Gruppo Trussardi è stato fondato nel 1911
a Bergamo da Dante Trussardi: l’azienda nasce come laboratorio per la produzione e la
distribuzione di guanti di lusso, considerati
l’eccellenza dell’artigianalità della lavorazione
della pelle. La qualità delle materie prime e la
costante ricerca portano l’azienda a diventare
in pochi decenni una delle realtà più affermate
del panorama internazionale degli accessori.
Questo successo spronò il nipote Nicola
Trussardi a trovare altre vie per continuare questa tradizione di eccellenza. La sua
sensibilità imprenditoriale unita alla diversificazione produttiva lo conducono alla
creazione di un marchio di lifestyle, capace
di abbracciare con il suo stile ogni aspetto
della vita.
Nel 1973 viene adottato come emblema del
Gruppo l’immagine del Levriero, icona di agilità e dinamismo. Il Greyhound rivoluziona il
sistema della moda internazionale lasciando
un’impronta indelebile nell’immaginario di
quegli anni con la sua raffinatezza e la sua

by Dante Trussardi in 1911, starting out as a
factory that produced and distributed luxury
gloves and became a symbol of excellence in
craftsmanship and leather processing. Due to
the quality of the raw materials and on-going
experimentation, the company became in a few
decades one of the most prominent manufacturers on the international market for accessories.
This success encouraged Dante’s grandson Nicola Trussardi to find new ways to continue this
tradition of excellence. His keen business sense
combined with product diversification led him
to create a lifestyle brand whose style embraced
every aspect of life.
In 1973 the Group adopted the image of the
Greyhound, a symbol of agility and energy, as
its emblem. Trussardi revolutionized the international fashion system, leaving an indelible
mark on the tastes of the time with its sophistication, refinement, and meticulous attention
to detail, using materials of unparalleled quality.
The 80’s were decisive for the success of the

eleganza, con la cura maniacale dei dettagli,
con materiali di qualità incomparabile.
Gli anni Ottanta sono decisivi per l’affermazione del marchio: si inaugura la prima
boutique Trussardi in via Sant’Andrea e si
assiste al debutto nell’abbigliamento con le
prime collezioni uomo e donna, presentate al
Teatro alla Scala. La moda, per la prima volta,
si avvicina alla cultura, allo spettacolo, all’arte, ma soprattutto alla città di Milano, inaugurando così un rapporto accessibile con la
parte più vitale del capoluogo meneghino.
Il Gruppo Trussardi negli anni ’90 prosegue nella strada dell’espansione internazionale puntando ai nuovi mercati dell’Europa
dell’Est, dell’Asia e del Medio Oriente. Sono
anche gli anni delle collaborazioni con i più
interessanti talenti della fotografia internazionale: Richard Avedon, Mario Testino, Michel Comte e Steven Klein,chiamati a interpretare la raffinatezza e la contemporaneità
della griffe del levriero.
Oggi il Gruppo Trussardi conserva i valori dell’impresa familiare e del Made in Italy.
L’impegno quotidiano è dedito all’innovazione, intesa come la capacità di essere sempre
aggiornati su quelle che sono le nuove tendenze pur mantenendo la coerenza del dna
del marchio e la sua consistenza nel tempo.

For the first time, fashion encountered culture,
theater and art and, above all, it established a
close bond with Milan, initiating an accessible relationship with the most vibrant part of the city.
In the 90’s, Trussardi continued blazing a path
of international expansion, presciently targeting
new emerging markets in Eastern Europe, Asia
and the Middle East. It also began working with
world-renowned photographers such as Richard
Avedon, Mario Testino, Michel Comte and Steven Klein, who were asked to portray the sophistication and modernity of the brand of the
Greyhound.
Today, Trussardi Group still preserves the values of a family-run business and Italian manufacturing excellence. Committed to the concept
of innovation, it works each day to reflect the
latest trends while preserving the brand’s DNA
and consistency over time.

A giugno 2014 il Gruppo Trussardi ha stretto un importante accordo con Morellato, il
primo Gruppo della gioielleria e orologeria
a capitale italiano, per la produzione e la
distribuzione su scala mondiale di orologi
Trussardi.
Il progetto nasce dalla volontà delle due
realtà italiane di celebrare il Made in Italy,
forti di un heritage comune nel mondo della
pelletteria: i guanti per Trussardi e i cinturini per Morellato.
Gli orologi, tutti Swiss Made, rivelano l’anima stilistica di Gaia Trussardi, Direttore
Creativo del Gruppo, e la passione per l’orologeria di Tomaso Trussardi, Amministratore Delegato del Gruppo Trussardi. I codici
stilistici della griffe del levriero vengono declinati attraverso la scelta di forme e materiali che creano una perfetta combinazione
di raffinatezza ed attenzione al dettaglio.
Con questa partnership, Trussardi si riconferma marchio di lifestyle a 360 gradi,
estendendo il suo concetto di eleganza senza tempo, anche nel settore dell’orologeria.
In June 2014 Trussardi Group signed an important agreement with Morellato, the most
important Italian-owned jewelry and watch
group, for the production and worldwide distribution of Trussardi watches.
The project originates from the desire of the
two Italian groups to celebrate Italian-made
excellence, backed by their common heritage in
the leather goods sector: gloves for Trussardi
and watchbands for Morellato.
The watches – all made in Switzerland – reveal
the artistic soul of Gaia Trussardi, Creative Director of the group, and the passion for watches
of Tomaso Trussardi, CEO of Trussardi Group.
Trussardi’s distinctive stylistic elements are
expressed through a choice of shapes and materials that create the perfect combination of
timeless elegance, sophistication, and exquisite
details.
Through this partnership, Trussardi confirms
its positioning as a complete lifestyle brand,
extending its concept of timeless elegance to
the watch sector.
