Hunter Hayes partners with Ozarks Food Harvest
Concert at JQH on Saturday highlights local child hunger
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Award-winning artist Hunter Hayes is performing at JQH Arena this Saturday and he’s lending
his voice to help spread awareness of child hunger in southwest Missouri, thanks to a partnership with Ozarks Food
Harvest and ConAgra Foods’ Child Hunger Ends Here program.
Ozarks Food Harvest is one of 10 U.S. food banks that have the unique opportunity to benefit from Hayes’ “We’re
Not Invisible” tour, which will include a food and fund drive outside JQH in the hours leading up to the concert. For
every $5 or five nonperishable food items donated outside at the Ozarks Food Harvest van, donors can enter to
win two sets of tickets, a pair of “Meet & Greet” passes and tour t-shirts—all donated by 94.7 KTTS and ConAgra
Foods Foundation. The first drawing will be between 5–6:30 p.m.
Inside the venue, from 5:30–8:30 p.m., concert-goers can participate at a “Hope Grocery” booth by “shopping” from
store shelves, choosing a ConAgra Foods or P&G product with the red push pin “Child Hunger Ends Here” label and
taking the product to a “check-out stand.” There, they’ll enter the code from the product into a system in order to
provide one meal to a child in need. Also when the code is entered, concert-goers will learn if they’ve won a prize
for participating, including a chance to meet Hunter Hayes, ticket upgrades or autographed items. OFH staff will
also man a table near “Hope Grocery.”
The “Hope Grocery” concept shows consumers how they can take action after the concert. ConAgra Foods and P&G
have a goal to help donate up to 7 million meals through the Child Hunger Ends Here campaign. To participate, look for
the red pushpin and locate the code found on specially marked ConAgra Foods and P&G products. For each 8-digit
code entered at www.ChildHungerEndsHere.com or Facebook.com/ChildHungerEndsHere from March through August
2014, ConAgra Foods or P&G, respectively, will donate the monetary equivalent of one meal to help feed those in
need, including children in southwest Missouri.
In Hunter Hayes’ new hit single, “Invisible,” he brings visibility to the nearly 16 million children who are living in food
insecure households in the United States, which includes one in four children in Ozarks Food Harvest’s 28-county
service area.
“I’m proud to partner with ConAgra Foods’ Child Hunger Ends Here program to share the message of hope in the
fight against child hunger,” Hayes says. “My new single ‘Invisible’ speaks to anyone who has ever felt outcast, alone,
or invisible, including children who suffer from food insecurity. Hungry kids are in our schools, our neighborhoods
and even right next door.”

About the Child Hunger Ends Here program
Consumers can easily participate by going to their local grocery stores and looking for the red pushpin and code on
specially marked packages of 42 select ConAgra Foods and P&G brands, including Banquet®, Chef Boyardee®, Healthy
Choice®, Hunt’s®, Pampers®, Bounty®, Tide® and Pantene®, then visiting www.ChildHungerEndsHere.com or
Facebook.com/ChildHungerEndsHere to enter the eight-digit code found on the package. For each code entered, the
equivalent of one meal will be donated to Feeding America. Codes can be entered through June 2014 for P&G brands and
August 2014 for ConAgra Foods brands. While entering codes, consumers will be able to submit their zip codes to support
the local Feeding America food bank serving their community. Up to ten local food banks with the highest number of zip
codes entered within their service area will receive the monetary equivalent of a 100,000-meal donation ($11,111).
