Roche Business Partner Guide How to access Roche Applications Welcome to Collaboration with Roche You have been registered as a Roche Business Partner to support a collaboration between your company and Roche. The Roche RANGE portal provides you with secure access to Roche applications and resources. Minimum Requirements Operating System: Windows XP SP2/SP3, 32-64 bits Vista Enterprise SP1/SP2, 32-64 bits Windows 7 SP1 32-64 bits Browser: Internet Explorer Version 7.0 through 11.0 Java: Version 6 and 7 Browser Pop-Up Settings: If pop up blocker is turned on, then allow pop ups from the websites *.roche.com and *.roche.net Your Key Contacts Your key contact points for help or advice are: - Your Roche Responsible Person (RRP), the person at Roche who is accountable for you - ExBP Services will help you solve any technical problems with the RANGE portal Your RANGE access Your RRP organized a Roche user account and Roche ID Grid Card for you to be able to use the Roche RANGE portal. Your registration details include your name, email address, phone number and work address. Roche follows all regulations relating to your personal data protection, therefore credentials are sent to you using two separate channels: username, start password, and domain in the Welcome email message and the Roche ID Grid Card via courier service. To request access to specific Roche applications, please contact your RRP What you need: Roche username (sent in Welcome email message) Roche password (sent in Welcome email message) Roche domain (sent in Welcome email message) Roche ID Grid card (sent via courier service) Serial Number of Roche ID Grid card Access to Roche Applications This leaflet explains how to access Roche applications using the Roche RANGE portal. Note: Your Roche ID Grid Card shows different values Step 1: Activate your Roche ID Grid Card (one time) 1.1 Go to https://businesspartners.roche.net 1.2 Click on Activate Your Roche ID Grid Card 1.3 Sign In (change domain based on welcome email notification received) 1.4 Click on Roche ID Grid Activation 1.5 Remove the protective security sticker from your Roche ID Grid Card and enter its Serial Number Note: If the protective security sticker was already removed when you received the card or if it has been tampered with, immediately report it to ExBP Services. 1.6 Enter requested values (e.g. 2 e 3) Step 2: Access Roche applications via RANGE 2.1 Go to https://businesspartners.roche.net 2.2 Select the nearest gateway in your region 2.3 Sign in (like in Step 1.3) 2.4 Enter Roche ID Grid Card values for the requested coordinates and sign in Note: Entries are not case sensitive 2.5 Select an application in the menu and login 2.6 After completing your work using Roche applications, please Sign Out Step 3: Change your Password For security reasons, you must change your Roche password: • The first time you access the RANGE Portal • At least every 12 months To do this, select Password Change Utility in the RANGE Portal and follow the instructions. Step 4: End your RANGE session To stop using Roche applications, click on Sign Out and close the internet browser window. Troubleshooting – common problems The Roche ExBP Services team is the primary resource for problem resolution. Below are some common issues. • If you have lost your Roche ID Grid Card or believe its security has been compromised (e.g. someone might have copied it while you were absent), contact ExBP Services immediately and request a replacement Roche ID Grid Card. • If you have forgotten your Roche ID Grid Card (but know it is safely stored), ExBP Services can provide you with a temporary PIN. • If you have locked your Roche ID Grid Card by providing the wrong response values five times, wait 15 minutes for the card to unlock, or contact ExBP Services for an immediate resolution. • If you receive an error when logging in for the first time that says Your Roche ID Grid Card is locked or invalid, please go to Step 1 and Activate your Roche ID Grid. Make sure the domain is set to the domain listed in your welcome email. Roche ID Grid Card Policy Please follow the Roche ID Grid Card Policy to guarantee its security: • Your Roche ID Grid Card is a Roche property. • It is strictly personal and not transferable • You are not allowed to copy or duplicate your Roche ID Grid Card • Keep your Roche ID Grid Card confidential. Keep it in • • • • • • a safe place (e.g. wallet) and do not leave it unsecured when you are not using it Do not write anything on your Roche ID Grid Card (e.g. your name or your user ID) Loss of your Roche ID Grid Card must be reported immediately to ExBP Services Only use your Roche ID Grid Card if the authentication server displays the correct serial number (i.e. as printed on the card) Report any serial number mismatches Never specify/enter the serial number of your Roche ID Grid Card (except when activating or testing it) If you suspect manipulation of the protective security sticker on your new Roche ID Grid Card, do not activate it.
