Each four-week session is structured to include unique activities every Monday – Thursday. Our new, revamped program is designed to specifically meet the needs of our youngest campers. No longer will they be restricted to structured 55-minute classes; instead their day will be similar to that of the school year day allowing the teachers more freedom in their lessons. Under constant, careful supervision of experienced and certified instructors and our trained camp counselors, our Friendly Froglets will be encouraged to participate in a wide range of multi-cultural activities, arts and crafts, outdoor sports, reading, science, math and many other organized activities. The limited number of campers in each group allows the teachers to give much needed individualized attention to each child. This new program will allow our little ones the opportunity to play constructively, learn the importance of socialization, sharing and cooperation and allow them to adjust to new environments and becoming more independent. Campers will follow a daily schedule which will enable them to be active and to enjoy the same great fun as the older campers, but at a more relaxed pace. Beginner Swim is still an option for our 6-yr-olds. IT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE FRIENDLY FROGLETS PROGRAM – YOU MUST PLACE A CHECK IN THE BOX IF YOUR CHILD IS INTERESTED. Instructional swim lessons will run for 45 minutes from 12:15 to 1pm. Please select the box if you would like your child to participate. Please remember to have your child bring a towel and swimsuit. □ Swim 609•570•3311 43 For Office Use Only _____ Log In _____ Schedule _____ Proof _____ Medical Form Session (please check box(es): □ Session I: $995.00 June 22-July 16 (4 Weeks) _____ APP/Payment ______Reg ______Review Pay ______Database □ Session II: $995.00 July 20-August 13 (4 Weeks) NCONE-CC002-02 NCTWO-CC002-02 Age on September 30, 2015 ______________ Birthdate: _______ — _______ — _______ Mo Day How many children from your family are enrolling in Camp College? ________ (Please copy this form if you are registering more than one camper.) Camp College is committed to quality and excellence in everything we do by providing carefully designed programs and activities, a dedicated and experienced staff, and a caring and safe environment with state of the art facilities. Through education with an emphasis on hands-on activities and fun, we offer children the opportunity to achieve, to develop self-esteem and self-confidence, and to grow. OUR CODE OF BEHAVIOR Our camper code of behavior is designed to create an environment that allows campers to learn, teachers to teach, and our camp administrators and counselors to facilitate the instruction. We believe that good discipline at camp is essential to the safety and well being of everyone. We also believe that the basic goals of our programs include the promotion of courteous conduct, consideration toward other people, and respect for the rights of everyone. With the full cooperation of parents or guardians, we look forward to an exciting, safe summer in which our campers respect rules and regulations. College is in session and administrative offices are open for business, so it’s especially important that campers show respect for others and demonstrate appropriate behavior and language. Our staff always uses positive techniques to guide behavior, but disruptive activities cannot be tolerated and will be subject to the following disciplinary actions: • 1st incident -verbal warning and parental notification. • 2nd incident - a two-day suspension from camp. The director may require a parent conference before continued attendance is permitted. • 3rd incident or at the discretion of the director - expulsion from Camp College, Before and After-Camp care, any programs, trips or activities associated with Camp College. No refunds are issued for suspension or expulsion. On the first day of camp, participants and staff will review expected behavior at camp. Parents are expected to discuss this information with their child and return a signed agreement with their completed application. No camper will be admitted without a signed agreement. www.mccc.edu/campcollege 58 Camp College Comments Thank you for another wonderful summer at Camp College. My two children, 10 and 13, participated in both the Campus Kids and Specialty programs. They have been attending the camp for the past six years. My daughter loved seeing her "camp friends" and counselors for another summer of fun. My son had a wonderful experience in Aqua Adventure Camp and Adventure Camp. (Highly recommend both!) The instructor, Wayne, from Adventure Camp and the counselors are professionals who inspire confidence. MCCC camp programs are safe, well-run summer fun! Cathi Roberts The week before last, while picking up my granddaughter and a neighbor's child from camp, I was witness to an event that made me feel exceedingly more confident with entrusting the safety of my granddaughter to the camp and its counselors. A mother was picking up her two boys from camp and did not have the proper ID. Your counselors were confident and steadfast in following the procedures set up for camper pick-up. There was an apparent name discrepancy on her ID and the counselors would not release the children without proper authorization. While I am sure it frustrated the mother in question, I am also confident it made anyone observing the incident more secure. Thank again for your diligence in ensuring the safety of our children Marie Mendez Just some overall feedback for you on the camp...Nick is loving it. He has come home each day with great things to say about his day. Quite a change from camps he's attended in the past. I'm so happy we were able to sign him up. He will definitely return next year. Nancy Kinter My son, Prem attended the highly acclaimed camp for the first time last summer. We were a little apprehensive at first since we did not know what to expect and it being his first camp. I wasn't sure if he was going to like it especially since he was going to spend about 10 hours a day for 6 weeks. For the sake of variety, we tried both the Specialty and Campus Kids. We were very happy with the overall experience to say the least. The camp counselors were very experienced and knew just how to make Prem feel comfortable in his “new summer home”. They went out of their way to provide updates to me on how he was doing. I was always able to reach them and they were very responsive. I could see that they really cared and we will definitely be back again. Great job Camp College! Raji Sathappan I would like to say how much my son enjoys your camps, and how much I enjoy them. I leave days with peace of mind knowing he will be well looked after and having a ball. I especially like the specialty camp programs. I find them to be educational as well as fun. Diane Ziegler Camp College proved to be a true hit with my six year old's first experience with summer camp. I found the organization of the program very impressive and how they were able to move the children from one course to the next. My daughter enjoyed the well-thought-out courses and most of all, the enthusiasm and care of the counselors. Suhal Lewis The dance classes at Camp College are great. Stephanie, the teacher, and Emily, her counselor are perfect. There are two dance classes Hip Hop and Dance, Dance, Dance. They also instruct Musical Theater. Last summer we performed Honey Bun from the musical South Pacific. It is always fun to sing, dance and act with Stephanie, Emily and your friends. Caroline Cano - Camper I would like to tell you that I had so much fun and I will return every year. The teachers and counselors were friendly, helpful and I learned a lot! What I enjoyed most was the activities and making new friends. Monique Bergeron-Camper Being a CIT is a great opportunity to gain valuable job skills, make friends and still manage to enjoy your summer. I loved working with the kids. I felt like I was having as much fun as they were. Dan Zeitler Matthew had a great experience with Camp College. This was his first camp experience and we were amazed with how easy it was for him to adjust to camp life. He loved his classes and counselors. Matthew wanted to stay at Camp College year round! He can't wait to come back this year! Kristy Catalfomo I really enjoyed my experience at Camp College. The teachers and counselors were friendly and helpful. Whenever I needed help, they would come to me immediately and answer my questions.
