District Invitation to the
BC/Yukon District
Conference 2015
Greetings Friends,
Darwin
Pichette
Ken
Russell
Dave
Solmes
On behalf of our District
Leadership Team and Section Pastors, please accept
our personal invitation to register for our annual District
Conference on April 27th through 29th, in the beautiful
city of Vancouver. We are grateful to Pastor Darin
Latham, and the staff and volunteers of Broadway
Pentecostal Church for hosting our delegates during this
week. If you live outside the Lower Mainland, we would
encourage you to extend your visit to our District
Conference in Vancouver, and enjoy some of the
beautiful sights, sounds and activities offered within this
great Canadian city.
For several years we have invited plenary speakers from
the United States to encourage us in the work here in
Canada. This year, our conference design committee
felt a deep conviction to invite Canadian Pastors who
have experienced a season of supernatural anointing
for multiplication.
So it is with great joy that we
introduce our evening plenary speaker, Rev. Matt Tapley
(Lead Pastor of Lakemount Worship Centre in Grimsby,
Ontario). We will hear from some local BCYD church
planters, Rev. Dan Cousins and Rev. Mike Bidell during
our Wednesday morning plenary session and enjoy a
time of communion together on Tuesday morning.
Please come to our District Conference this year with
expectancy and fervour in your soul to hear from God’s
Holy Spirit. We encourage you to register as soon as
possible, using the Eventbrite registration system which is
available thru our website, www.bc.paoc.org.
Our conference theme this year is “MULTIPLY”, which is We’re better together,
rooted in our firm conviction of Acts 19:20 "In this way Ken, Dave and Darwin
the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power”.

Dan and Star Cousins set out on a
church planting mission after feeling
a strong pull to return to Nanaimo
where they first met and were later
married in 1995. They began a home
group meeting with their family that
soon formed a church called
Genesis Christian Centre that launched in January
2008. Now in her 7th year, Genesis is a thriving and
growing body made up of many people who were far
from God before they crossed paths with the Genesis
vision of “Making disciples who learn their identity, lead
with integrity, and live intentionally.” Now regularly
about 300 people strong, there is consistently new and
unique stories of people impacted by the gospel and
making decisions to follow Christ.
