Community Financial Fund Grant Reapplication
Checklist
Please be aware grants are distributed on a first-come, firstserve basis, so pay careful attention to complete all steps below
and turn in to the A.S. Ticket and Cashier’s Office as soon as
possible.*
To receive the Community Financial Fund Grant Application,
you must:
Fill
out
the Grant Supplemental Questionnaire at
http://cff.as.ucsb.edu/community-financial-fund-
reapplication/
OPTIONAL! Attend one (1) Community Financial Fund
Financial Literacy Workshop.
o Workshops are held two (4) times per week and last one (1) hour.
o Session days and times are:
! Mondays at 12pm in the AS Annex, Bldg. 434
! Tuesdays at 1pm in the MCC AS Nati Conference Room (2nd Floor)
! Wednesdays at 3pm in the AS Annex, Bldg. 434
! Thursdays at 3pm in the MCC AS Nati Conference Room (2nd
Floor)
Complete the Financial Literacy Quiz with a score of 70% or
better. Quizzes can be picked up from Jose Raygoza located
in AS Ucen Room 2533, MCC 2nd Floor, at a financial literacy
workshop, or email joser@as.ucsb.edu.
Write a one-page essay.
o The essay prompt is, “How did you utilize your previous Community
Financial Fund grant(s)? How did your previous grant(s) benefit you during your
experience at UCSB, and how are you planning to use this grant?”
o Please respond with a typed, one full page, single-spaced, 12-point font,
one-inch margin paper.
*Grant awards are not guaranteed and dependent on Financial Aid status. You will be
notified within 10 business days of application receipt whether or not you are receiving
the grant.
