It will help provide clear direction as we assemble our strategic plan this spring and summer. You will receive a letter soon that will detail the strengths and challenges of our school brought to light in the survey. Thanks also for the many positive comments that were made about St. Thomas More School. I have great news! We currently have 20 kindergarteners (and counting) registered for the 15 -16 school year. This is more than double the amount we had registered at this time last year and the year before. We are very close to having two classes in place next fall. If you have not yet registered your kindergartener, please do so soon. Congratulations to Evelyn Haselmann and the Preschool team for passing their accreditation review with flying colors! Mr. Phil, as the kids in the STM school call him, joined us last fall. He has a background in accounting and has led STM through the transition to the ParishSoft accounting system that the Archdiocese unveiled last summer. Mr. Phil does the accounting work and business management for both the school, working closely with Mrs. Volkenant, and the parish, working closely with Patti Day and Nicole Johnson. Mr. Phil has also been known to pinch hit with the maintainance staff! The STM Community is very blessed to have Mr. Phil as part of our community. Thank you to him and to all those who work with him to ensure the long-term viability of St. Thomas More.
